I was soooo hungry. Waiting like a puppy dog for white to show up so we can begin eating. We had been meeting up at a place called the battle grounds, an open field with one tree we use to shade in an a pond nearby. At first it was one of my outdoor hideouts we used way back when I faked my death, but it soon became a vacation spot her an I resorted to. We sparred, had picnics', hung out. We did a lot of things, a lot of things I felt guilty about but I was too afraid to confront the guilt, I didn't want this resevor to go away.
Finally I had enough! I'm eating! I open up the basket to retrieved a slice of watermelon but right when I picked it up the guilt took over me and I set it back down, closing the lid. Staring at the ground I thought about how cool it would be if a watermelon just sprouted from the ground, and then came a surprise.
Low and behold right when I thought about the Watermelon sprouting from the ground, a watermelon sprouted from the ground! this was insane! I took the shock in for a moment before looking around. Did I do this? and then I felt a burning on my chest.
Reaching into my shirt I brought out the Earth pendant that was strapped to my neck ever since Kanna gave it too me. It was glowing brightly, that emerald green, was this it? Kanna said with this I could use the earth elemental power. Did this mean I could grow my own fruit? Staring at the ground I began making apple tree's with apples! this would be my new ammo to use against my friends I thought evily. Taking a bite of an apple it tasted so good. Going for round to something strange happend. The apple talked. It yelled out "Hey! Put me down!" I stared at it blankly, I must have been going crazy. "Hey! I'm talking to you!" s**t! this was really happening!
Dropping the apple to the floor I sat there not moving a mucle, unaware of what I was suppose to do. Then I heard laughter. Who was laughing looking over in the direction it was coming from I saw a transparent figure on the ground chuckling hard. I stood up and stared at him, he looked like a ghost, he must have fooled me. " Hey! Who are you! Why did you do something like that?!" After he caught his breathe he stood and introduced himself. "My name is Ghost-kun, and I like having fun. I've been out here for a long time watching you and your friend wondering when would be the best time to pull a prank and that was it!" he burst into laughter again. I glared at him. "Yeah, real funny."
"Hawk?" I turned around as white aproached us. "Who are you talking to?"
"This loser of a Ghost!" I pointed behind me where Ghost stood but he was gone. "He- he was right here." I stared back at white, she smiled. " I think your hunger got to you." she eyed the apple tree's and watermelon behind me. Man did I look crazy. I shooked it off and prentend it didn't happen but I knew, I knew that wouldn't be the last time I ran into Ghost.
