"So how is she holding up?" I asked Jup reffering to her kid Saturn. "She's doing fine."
"And you?"
"... I'm fine too." We passed smiles and I went to go fetch her some warm milk. "Boo!" I fell on my a** startled. It was that damn Ghost again. "What the hell?" I shouted wondering what he was doing in the Haven. He burst up again and slapped his knee. "What are you doing here?" I asked with glaring eyes as I got up. "I followed you and your friend back here the other day... nice place."
"Yeah.. thanks."
"Mind if I call this my new home?"
I thought for a second but was soon interrupted by Jupiter. "Who's your new friend?"
"He's not my friend. His name is Ghost." I turned to the new comer. "You can stay but no more sneaking up on me, I mean it!"
He nodded and I turned back to Jup. "You seen Curly lately?"
"Who's Curly?" the spirit asked noisingly. "The girl your always with?"
"No, thats White... and I'm not always with her."
Jup rose an eyebrow. "Curly is his girlfriend."
A strange look displayed on the dead man's face, I knew he knew. His spying caught me in the act of cheating. "Hawk has a girlfriend.... I see."
I gave him that look, the look you give some one when you want them to keep something they know a secret. That fierce look that means your serious, so serious that you'd kill them if they told anyone. Ghost was already dead so I wasn't sure if the look would work but I implied it anyways.
After that I went to the back to practice my new earthen power. I plotted to get the other pendants so I could learn all the elements. I was never much of a magic user but now I knew what I was missing, and like they say, knowledge is power and the more you know, the better your off. The one thing that I didn't know was that while I was playing around out back Jup and Ghost would get acquainted with each other, very acquainted. One thing I didn't know, I didn't want.
