Meep!
The Digital Suicide
You blame this pixelated paradise,
You accuse an online sanctum.
You claw,
You bite,
For the many apart once belated 'sacrifice'.
They forfeit a game no longer of interest,
So back around the Merry-Go-'Round
Shooting down upon brethren.
Don't take me as ill-conceited,
I just plea the accusations would beat it.

Been a long time since I've had a good rant to consolidate myself, so why not start with something that most will find me as being ignorant and far too nonchalant on an issue that's far from a laughing, or at this point, argumental state. The Virginia Tech shooting is going to cause it further devastation, and if you haven't found out what exactly I'm talking (typing) about then I'll let you in: VIDEOGAMES. Yes, people, the industry that's been making billions out of our simple minded little brains all so we can enjoy about a week's worth of entertainment and to later think 'it could have been better had they [insert suggestion here]'. Now, please, don't think me so naive as to neglect the outcome of such a gruesome scene; I understand the pains and the animosity that must have erupted due to such an act yet I feel no remorse for having argue on such a crude accusation that this person of academics had to have been playing videogames to have been influenced!

Of all the forms of media what's the one form they have to bombard with millions of complaints? The gaming industry! It didn't take FOX five hours after the shooting of Virginia Tech to quickly accuse videogames as a likely suspect! From all these massacares, all these heartbreaks, the one and only culpirt to ever shine through with the greatest sheen is VIDEOGAMES. So it couldn't have been movies? No no no... All those movies were some person's being moed down with an AK-47, trying to crawl away in agony to only have their head blown off with their bodily fluids and brains strewn across the pavement and splash into the killers face, all those are just miscellaneous, huh? Yea, yea, totally understand!

Videogames act as an extension to the human mind, allowing you to travel through those tangible barriers and enter a realm where you can do the unimaginable, right? Perhaps with the added bonus of learning some few deep dark and juicy secrets on the creator... At any rate, that not being the point: Say if videogames are to be an extension to different dimensions are you saying that books as well could have brought about this horrific event? I mean, people are aware that there are books with such gruesome scenes as that, right? I'm not the only one sitting in a library all my life checking out every book, right? I'm not the only on using my actual brain to articulate thoughts past first grade comprehension, right? This isn't just me? or does somehow, books and videogames differ in the magnitude of realism?

Not trying to be an arsehat, once again, however the poetry, the words this guy spoke in the Virginia Tech shootings seemed to be highly capable of forming sentences past a fifth grade level meaning, I'm pretty sure, he must have read past that level as well! Since he was in a pretty sophisticated college, this is only me speaking, and since he had a pretty amped IG then I'm only guessing he had some easy access to some books containing the material in literature. That's just me though! Now taking into consideration they would have possibly banned those books from his school think of this: LIBRARY! Y'know, the thing where you sit your a** down and read a few pages with that blury stuff we call 'text'. Yea, no, that's just another idea I'm throwing out there.

Once again, more stuff I needed to get out of my system... Since I'm the complaining type offline, I have to do it online... In a journal... That I always plan to keep coming back and looking at to notice my annoyances... Yea, I'm lonely...
