Well I think the title tells the most about this image.
Sort of an odd photoshop work of mine, more practice with realism. I was going for a far different effect, I wanted to make it look a bit painterly but it appears that the mermaid had other ideas.

- Actually I pride myself on trying different coloring methods, its not hard to very it up. (and the last name is "dennis" not "dannia" wink You could go to my website and find out more about me and my pen name.

If you look just beneath the bottom-left side of the mermaid's tail, you'll see that there is a signature he forgot to erase. The real artist put their signature there in order to claim their work so nobody else could, as he's done here. The real artist is Heather Dannia.
Also, the other two works I've seen posted here, supposedly by the same artist, both sport completely different shading styles, bringing me to the conclusion that all three are stolen. - Report As Spam
