Calypso was a nymph in Greek mythology. Her story is that she held Odysseus on her island of Ogygia for years to make him become her immortal husband. But, Zeus then makes Calypso send him away back to his wife. She hesitantly agrees and sends Odysseus away with a boat, wine, and bread so he could return back to his wife, Penelope. So, this colored pencil drawing is my intake on the story of Calypso.
