• The Season changed today
    The snow began to fall
    The winter breeze moves smooth
past my fast and down my spine
You can feel the white bliss all around.
And I have a heart that shows,
    "Today he'll be here
    I know he will."

Later day, we gather by the fire
Mom is done makeing the feast of wonders
Dad is tired from chopping wood
Sister's and brother's eat frosting from the bowl
    While the snow falls soft.
I watch, happy to be there.
And still waiting for him to come.
His roesy cheeks and button nose.

Night now, I lay myslef down to sleep.
    Shade's open, moon shine bright
    And wait
For that jolly man everyone talks about,
to see him before I grow old,
    just once

I see something in the distances
    could it be......

    Morning now
Christmas, the day Christ was born,
excitment stretches to every part of my body
    yet sadness flows
    I didn't see him
I waited my life and he isn't there.

    I open every gift
    Crinkle every wrapper
    save every bow.
    There is one left.
    Addressed to me,
    A beautiful book is inside
cover to cover a beautiful winter scene is painted
    "To see
    to hear
    to be,
    If you know
    it shall show."
It's from him and I do know,
    I will always belive.

    Afternoon I read
    silent and still
each page filled with new enchanment
    new wonder,
    And to think,
this year may be the best Christmas I ever had.
    Snow falls softly
beauty in white...dance around my room.
    send me to him,
    that Jolly man in red.
