The Morrigan
Take me away from here.
Let me spread my wings
and fly from this place.
May the winds carry me
to the stars and clouds above.
Let me feast upon
the Souls of the Damned and
let me show the path
to the Souls of the Lost.
Let me ride the darkened skies
over the embattlements below.
I shall pluck theirs souls from the
tapestry of destiny which I have woven
on a loom of time.
Let me love no more,
fore ’tis love that has weakened me.
’Tis love, that wretched thing,
that has created this monster within;
created all this sorrow and despair.
Let me rule over what I was meant to.
Fated to be Fate;
to change some things and not others.
To not tamper with Destiny because,
if tried it will hurt me as deep as before.
Let me cleanse the bodies of the ones
fatted-to-die in Lady Water’s tears and
let my friends of long ago
no longer worry about me.
I chose my path,
or was it my terrible fate? Fate.
Such a disaster to kill my true love
and yet, even me, being ‘Fate’
could not stop its horrible plan.
Let me deliver death upon midnight wings
and give life by spinning a silk thread.
Let me be who I am fated to be.
Let me be…The Morrigan.

I thought it was amazing.
Unfortuantely it's a little out of place in this contest.
