Listen now, all Gaians well,
to this story I've to say.
Of stories of our Christmas pasts,
listen well, I say,
"The trees are lit,
the stockings rung,
Our lives are all allay,
But peace has never lasted,
listen to this story I've to say
Oh pray, oh pray this year,
we hope to be not like the last,
for Zurg spaceships had invaded,
'twas was our Christmas past
And we'd met, O-jolly Jack,
who planned on innocent Santa on his sleigh,
a wholesome and horrorful attack,
but we all came to save the day.
So this year, lay down
'to your knees and pray,
that nothing of that kind or sort,
will happenstance our way."
And I looked to all their faces,
the little ones so eager,
eager to hear the rest,
But I shan't - can't continue
this story,
the rest hasn't happened... yet.
