• Beside the glass of milk,
    Cookies sit on the plate.
It’s Christmas Eve and I’m hoping,
    That Santa won’t be late.

Cause I’m hiding behind the couch,
Waiting for that jolly old elf.
    I’m awake past my bedtime,
Just to see him for myself.

My stocking hangs on the mantle,
And the tree is lit so bright.
I know he’ll be here soon,
To see him, I’ll wait all night.
