  • Title: Aftershock of an Arena Week
  • Artist: Hybird
  • Description: "This is what one feels at the end of an arena week. The constant rush of comments and downvotes harms one's joy in the arena. The harsh complaints of re-entered, or second try avatars stops the process of bettering one's creativity. They know not what sins they have committed, else they simply do not care."

The arena's commentors and raters have become so bad, it's ridiculous. I don't care if you give me a bad score. It needed to be said. Time to wake up, and think about what you comment/vote.

  • I agree... people can be overly mean... but just ignore them. That's all you really can do. If you let them get to you then they win. However... when someone is honestly telling you what they like and don't like without being overly mean... take those things into consideration. They may just be giving an honest opinion. I do like it though... I give a 4 for creativity.

  • Well, if your avatar isn't very good, you aren't going to get all great comments and votes. That's just the arena. It sucks when people are downvoted, but if your avi really deserves to place it will. It sucks that people get upset over re-entries, because there's really nothing wrong with them. Just don't too upset with someone honestly critiquing your avatar.

  • Yeah, I've learned to just ignore and delete the people complaining about something that isn't wrong with the avi. This is awesome, though. Hope you win.

  • Im glad someone finally said something. Allthough there is nothing we can really do to stop it. I hope you win. Good luck sweetie

  • I agree, but I've learned to laugh it off. I just think that whatever they say to me over the internet, they would NEVER say to my face. They're using the internet and in this case the arenas to make themselves feel powerful and in control. It's a sad world we live in, the best is to try and see the good and ignore the bad.
5/5 from me and good luck!

  • Yeah, I know what you mean, my art is on a border between being called sucky and being called good (2.50) But they all say "ok.... or this *cough sucks *cough balls" even though their art may be worse, and they look down on us even though we should look down on them from the negative comments, and then comes the fact that the wrong audiences are looking at your art, even though you're looking for a particular audience who would love your art, or poem, or avatar
