This avatar kind of represents how most of us want our lives to be: simple, elegant, and innocent.
The star represents the many times that I've sat up on my bed, staring out the window and wishing for something special to happen.
The wings/floating animal is a subtle metaphor of our childhood imagination and creativity. The apple is a bedtime snack. :)
Looking at this avatar brings me back to the olden days. </3

She really does portray the childlike innocence we all used to have, or still do have. I adore your description, and even though this isn't my kind of style, I like your avatar. ^^
