    Chapter One – Rooftops

    Part Three

Oh god, him again... In case your not sure, “him” refers to Craig... Yeah, the “Immortal Beast of Justice” guy... Standing up on the roof of some building. How he got up there in the first place I'm not even sure, but it's not like it's the weirdest thing he's ever done. Anyway, let's have more of those flashbacks. It's easier for me...

“THE FIGHT OF YOUR YOUNG LIFE MY FRIEND!!!!!!!” a familiar voice shouted from a rooftop. Zak looked up to see that crazy hobo guy standing above him, glaring down at him and Kevin.
“This is it! The first test of your path into man-ship! A real man never turns down a challenge. You must fight out of honor, and prevail at all costs!” Craig shouted.
“Who the hell is this guy?” Zak asked himself.
“Hey! Stop ignoring me! It's time to fight!” Kevin shouted, charging at Zak.
“Wa-- Wait, why are we even fighting?” Zak asked, stumbling back a bit.
“Just shut up and fight me already!”
And with that, Kev threw a right hook right for Zak's jaw. Sure enough, it connected and Zak was sent stumbling back a foot or two.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING BOY?!?!!? That's not how a real man fights! You can't take it like that, you gotta let the burning fury of your soul take control and fight like a raging fire!” Craig yelled, stabbing his street sign into the roof of the building.
“You know what... ******** it. I don't know what the hell is going on, so I'm just going to kick your a** and go the hell home!” Zak said.
Without another second of hesitation, Zak threw a punch at the kid he knew as Kevin, hoping if he hit him hard enough he'd just knock him out and get to go the hell home already. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Kevin ducked under the punch and hit Zak in the stomach. This of course knocked the wind out of him a bit, but being one of the best players on the football team, he was used to taking hard blows to the chest. Just as Kevin spun around to kick Zak, he stepped back, just barely out of his reach. “What the hell you doin'?!? Don't just stand there and dance around. FIGHT HIM! FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!!!!!” Craig yelled, swinging his sign around like a mad man, as if he were actually fighting as well. Some how, that actually got to Zak. Not really the speech itself, but more the amount that Craig was annoying Zak. “Shut up already! You don't even make any sense!!!” Zak yelled as he swung a fist at Kevin's face. Apparently that was just what he needed, all that anger built up from how annoyed he was getting actually proved useful.
“Burn! Burn like the heart of the sun!” Craig shouted.
Zak was getting his wits back, and managed to step back a bit and replant his feet it a position that didn't leave his jewels open to free footing. Kevin dashed at him once more, only this time, Zak saw it coming! Kevin through a left handed straight punch. Zak shot his right arm out like a piston. Both their fists connected with their opposite faces.
“YES! Thats it! The epitome of manly strikes, the CROSS COUNTER!!!!!!!!” Craig raved madly as he was destroying the roof with his sign.
Both Zak and Kevin tumbled backwards and managed to stay upright. Zak then jumped at Kevin, expecting to jump on top of him and start beating his a**. Instead, he jumped several additional feet into the air and plastered his body all over the side of the building Craig was on. “What the hell?” Zak thought. At about this time, Kevin realized that he would need black up.
Lindsay came running out of no where, and inquired, “What's going on here?!”
“See that guy up there, spread eagle on the building side? See him! I told you he was the one! I TOLD you! That means you were wrong! HahaHA!!!”

Okay, so at this point I'm pretty much lost as to what the hell is going on. I mean, first some guy and his not cat attack me, and now I'm jumping two stories into the air. Great. Anyway, after I get down and remove the blood from my eyes and other facial features, I turn to face him once again. This time, with a little more of an idea of what I'm doing. I leap into the air and come down with my knees in his fore head. Now, this next part I'll tell you in confidence, as I don't like it getting out much. After I started to remove my legs from his body, his damned girlfriend punched me square in the face!

“What was that?! Real men don't get beaten up by small women! Large women maybe, but not small women!!!!!” Craig shouted. After I rolled on the pavement about forty times, I sort of managed to get back on my knees. At that point, she brought her knee into the frontal part of my sternum. That sent me rolling more, and I was just about done. Then it happened. I don't know why, and I don't know how, but just like my pillow/book earlier, I combusted. Fun. Oddly enough, it didn't hurt one bit. Too bad my clothes weren't fire proof like my body. They pretty much disappeared in seconds, my clothes, and my attackers. Then I passed out. So yeah, thats my story up till now. I'm still unconscious, so I still don't know whats going on. But hey, I'm sure we'll both find out in chapter two! (Or not, nobody tells me anything anymore!)
