• An Adventuer's Tale "short story"

As I traversed across the heated stone inside the belly of the dragons den, a volcano.
I had come to slay the beast and rid the world of its evil and hatchlings as well, as I kept
this in mind I walked across a bridge of stone that hovered above a stream of bright scarlet
lava.My mind was set, nothing could take my focus off at the task at hand,as I finish
crossing the landbridge the majestic, but feircesome crimson beast stood at 15 feet above me.
She roared and stroke my heart with fear and adrenline, then I said to myself "Without fear
there cannot be courage" I unsheated my blade and shield and yelled to the dragon.
"Strike me creature so that I may send you back to the depths of hell!".The beast roared
and slashed at my shield rendering it useless,I tossed it aside and ran at the beast with
fury and rage imbeded inside my very soul. The dragon eventually became tired with my
swordplay and breathed upon me the very fire that fuel my soul,I quickly jumped from its
path and plunged my blade into the dragons chest,as she bled so did she spew magma
from her mouth, incinerating everything it even so delicatly touched. The beast screamed,
and screamed for several minutes until it lay dead upon the floor. The mothers eggs then
did hatch and as agressivly as their mother attacked me.My sword was melted,so I ripped
a long talon from the mother foot and stabbed each hatchling with 10 fold the hostility I was
shown, when the task lay done I take the dragons claw as a trophy and have it smithed into
a blade to show memory of the day I became a hero, but in the end I saw I was no better then the beast I had slay.

Thank you, for listening to my tale and I hope your lifes are as eventful as mine
