• I sat in the middle of the large, tall grass, field on top of the hill that sprouted from the earth, my camera in my hand. I waited for Kayle. my current boyfriend, with a smile on my face. The warm summer air that caressed my skin was wonderful. There was just a slight wind the made my dark brown hair and blue, loose fitting, 'I heart Music' t-shirt wisp around. I skimmed the area for any sign of Kayle. As i looked to my right i heard i heard a distant but still distinctive voice that sent a shiver of happiness rippling through my body.
"So did i keep you waiting?" Kayle asked in a velvety, husky, beautiful voice.
I automatically hopped up and spun myself around. Kayle leaned up against a weeping willow, dressed in a white t-shirt with a tux jacket on and some black slacks. He held about a dozen white roses. He flipped his long black hair out of his face and smiled at me.
I moved my hair behind my ear, not being able to look away from his captivating dark brown eyes i didn't know what else to do but run to him.
I slung the camera strap around my wrist and ran over to my dearly beloved. He held his arms open so i could run into them. We were under the shade of the tree, the leaves hanging around us.
"Not one minute." I replied to his question as i rest my head on Kayle's chest.
"Good, Oh by the way, i got you roses." He smiled down to me, moving the hand with the bouquet in it back and forth.
"You didn't have to, we just met out here to spend time together."
"And whats a date without flowers?"
I looked up at him and he smiled. "And whats a date without proof?" I asked motioning toward the camera dangling from my right wrist.
The corner of his mouth twitched into a smile. I removed the camera from my wrist and held it out in front of us, i leaned against his chest and smiled a sweet smile for the picture. The bright flash blinded me temporarily so i stayed leaning on him for a second. I more heard than felt a chuckle that rumbled in his chest.
For about an hour we took pictures of each other hugging, posing, and acting plain cute. Finally when my camera ran out of memory we went back up on the hill and watched the sun set in the west portion of the sky behind the mountains. I looked up at the beautiful multi-colored sky that looked as if it could have been painted on.
"The sky is so beautiful." I whispered, breathlessly.
    "I know you are."Kayle said.
The sudden comment caught me by surprise and so looked over at him. He sat there looking at me with such compassionate eyes, and a beautiful loving smile.
"Thanks." I said, knowing that my pale, chalky skin was blushing horribly, i looked back at the sky.
"Aridella?" He said my name in an alluring voice.
"Yes--" I began to say as looked over at him, but he did something i didn't expect.....
    He kissed me.
He put my chin in his hands and pressing his lips to mine. He moved closer to me, so i, without any control over my body moved closer too. We did this until we were pressed against each other. He put his arm around my waist and i wrapped my arms around his neck and ran my fingers through his black silky hair.
We seemed to fit perfectly together, like you see in movies or read in books [author note-i know its kinda funny cause it says 'or read in books' cause this is a book.]. We seemed perfect together. The sky had turned a beautiful dark blue, little specks of light in the blue velvet sky sparkled brilliantly.
Soon Kayle separated us, both of us breathing hard. He stood up, offering his hand to me.
"It's late, you should get home. Good night.....my angel." He said as he gave me one last kiss and retreated back it the forest he had come from.
"Good night...my dearly beloved." I whispered to him after he was out of hearing range.
I then turned the other direction, and walked home.....
