• " Hey! Andrew, you up, come on!" My brother just screamed in my ear. I thought I had punched him, but, because he was in the room with our mom, I musn't have. She didn't yell. I slowly opened my eyes. My brother, Kyle, stood above me with every little aspect of excitment in his eyes. Mom must be letting us go somewhere again. Last time, it was the farm. The time before that, the carnival. Both were a total bore. still, his big blue eyes were hard to deny. " You can ask samantha if she wants to go with us..." Kyle's voice trailed like it was a..." Kyle! I don't like Sam! I'm going to call her and ask if she wants to come," Andrew never meant to yell at his brother like that. Andrew had a disadvantage to Kyle, for one, Kyle was so darn cute. Every girl thought he was an angel, all the boys thought he was an awesome little football player. My mom had at least left the room before I yelled at him, she would have punished me for that. Kyle tried to chase me. I ran and easily made it to the phone. It rang twice before it was answered. " Hello," Sam said eagerly. " Hey Sam, You want to go somewhere with my brother and I, like the farm last year, he says it's really good this year," I said back. Partly, I wanted her to come so when he bored me to death, Samantha would help my boredom go away. The other part, I actually did like her a bit. I'm thirteen, what else am I going to think about this girl. Even though she seemed a bit gothic. She was very beautiful. " Hello?" said Sam's voice," my mom said it's okay." I smiled and yelled," Alright, meet me at my house. Kyle raced downstairs to congradulate me for getting her to come, again. Kyle really liked her. He had told her at least a million times that she was pretty. BeforeI knew anything, Sam was already on our doorstep. She was ready for something because she had a rope and tape with her. " I'm going to tie your brother up if he says he likes meone more time!" she yelled angrily. He must have called and left a message or something. My mom yelled," Kyle get down, Samantha is here, hurry up we are leaving!"I heard Kyle crash trying to get down, my mom appeared holding him like a crazy baby.Samantha laughed and I just chuckled. Kyle put a blindfold on us both, I was first, I knew he put one on Sam when I heard the," get off of me you little freak!" my mom growled and Sam went silent. She must have left the blindfold on for a while. It felt like ages we sat in that car. The car came to screeching stop and mom kissed us both on the forehead saying," now be safe and I'll be back in three hours, that's six okay?" I nodded and Kyle gave a whimper. Samantha jumped out of the car first. Kyle second. I was last. I watched our mom's car disappear into the distance. I turned and met a forset. Samantha's jaw had dropped I yelled," race you to that oak!" Kyle got a three second head-start, he's three years younger. We quickly caught up and took the lead. We got to an oak about fourteen yards from the entrance. We all decided to play tag. We raced further away from the entrance. Soon enough we had been an hour into our trip. Any further and we'd have to walk back now. It was starting to get to be evening. Samantha shuddered and said," Hey, look at that tiki dude!" Her finger pointed to a tiki-ish figure sating with three beautiful crystals with our favorite colors. Samantha's favorite was dark blue. Mine was red. Kyle's was green. Each crystal had our exact favorite color. Kyle ran to grab one. sam went right after him. I gave a moment of blank thought, then scurried after them. samantha grabbed the dark blue one. Kyle had stuffed the green one in his pocket. I just stared at the red crystal in my hand. Mist began to come in.
" Hey, why is it so dark, it's only five-thirty!" Kyle yelled lookng at his watch. I looked around, the mist wasn't very thick. I could clearly see the way we had come. I ran yelling," this way! It's the way out!" Samantha screamed. I wondered why for only a moment. I turned my head and there was a man, he had a knife and gun. I yelled, but they weren't words. It sounded like gibberish. Kyle ran ahead of me, Samantha was right behind me. I had almost ran out of breathe. We ditched him, somehow. Sam seemed like she was going to pass out. It was nearly six. We had to get to the entry of the forest, by six. We had ten minutes. I looked around to find where we had come from. The way was nearly covered entirly by mist.
" Andrew..." Samantha mumbled terrified," look" I turned my head to see that man again. I let out a scared welp. Samantha grabbed my hand and Kyles, here she ran with us to where she saw me staring. I yelled directions every now and then. Gun shots were heard a few times, but all of us were okay. At least for now. In a couple minutes it would be six. We were near the oak we raced to. I could see it above a few trees. It was past six now. Mom would be there too. The guy with the knife was close behind them. Nothing bad could happen if they just kept going for a few more minutes. The oak tree that was only fourteen yards from the entrance passed them. Through the mist they could make out the entrance. No car though, where was the car? They sprang from the woods. The man didn't show up from the and Sam seemed in pain. She walked up to Andrew. Andrew's eyes widened, Sam couldn't like him. But, what would the kiss she just gave him be for. Nothing good, it turned out life was fading. The enire place started fading. Eventually, they themselves faded.
Andrew bolted out of bed. he had a bump on his head. then, he remembered going to bed. It was all a dream. Just a dream. He knew that everything was okay. There was one thing he wanted though, that kiss from Sam.
