• “Dad what do you want?” I asked as I could see the anger in his eyes, I made sure that when I talked it was not of anger, but of sadness. He then didn’t buy into it, I seen his relaxed hand turn into a tight fist, OH NO! I ducked as he swung his balled up fist trying to hit some part of my body. I then took the advantage I had and as he swung his other hand; the hand that had a hold of my wrist had loosened and I slipped away. I began to run down what seemed to be a never-ending hallway, until I reached two barred doors, what had gotten into him. He had never to hit me before, why now? These questions kept running through my head as I continued down a few more never-ending hallways. I finally got to the check in counter. I then looked frantically for the exit, when I had noticed again the young man who I had met before in the store. He shot out of his seat, like as if he were waiting for me to get out, it was almost like he knew I was here. He began to walk fast over to me. Great now two guys after me.
“ Samantha, its me Mitch. Are you okay? You look like you need some rest.” He told me as I already knew. I was still winded from the long difficult hallways.
“Listen Mitch, I need you to get me out of here, and NOW!” I yelled in whisper as he approached me, I began to hold my chest because breathing became harder because of the run.
“Why? What’s wrong?” He asked me, I wish I could tell him the whole truth, but I’ll just shorten it for him.
“Please, I’ll explain later, just I really need to get out of here before my dad finds me.” I said trying to shorten it as much as possible.
“Okay, come on.” He said as he grabbed a hold of my hand and began to run. We ended up outside by a black Lamborghini. Wow! That is a really expensive car!
“Get in!” He rushed me, which wasn’t a bad thing because I seen my dad talking to the lady up at the counter, he was probably asking if she seen me because she then pointed directly at me. I then quickly got in the Lamborghini and he started the engine. My breathing hadn’t slowed from the adrenaline that had been pulsing from the run. And because of my dad. I buckled up as he started pulling out, after he was fully backed out he quickly turned to the right and stomped on the gas and we shot out of the parking lot of the hospital. After about five minutes of just driving around the city, we actually began to talk.
“So what was up with you back there?” He asked as I began to think of a reasonable excuse.
“Well, uh, um, you see this guy tried to kidnap me back there.” I said as I immediately began to feel guilty for lying.
“Oh so, um where would you like me to take you… What about your house?” he asked as I began to shake.
“Uh, um, n-n-no-o, no thank you.” I said as I tried to steady my thoughts. There was no way I could go back home, especially now.
“Oh okay, well um where to?” He asked me, and right as he asked my stomach growled.
“Ha ha, well I think that answers my question, so where would you like to eat?” He asked me and I was still partially in shock, that I couldn’t answer him.
After about three minutes he just pulled over and shut off his car. “Are you okay, Sammy?” He finally called me Sammy!
“I’m so sorry, it’s been a crazy day!” I said as my stomach growled again.
“ Where would you like to eat?” He looked over at me and this was the first time that I actually got a good look at him. He has perfect green eyes, and perfect white skin, his perfectly shaped face. He just had the most amazing looks.
“Um, I don’t care. Where would you like to go?” I asked to see if he had any idea of where to go.
“I know the perfect place!” He said after a minute of what seemed like him studying my face.
“Really? Where?” I asked because he made me wonder of how he could be new to the town and know what places to go for food.
“That’s a secret.” He said as he started up his car again. We stayed quite until we came to a very small, very unpacked parking lot. We were still in town but at a place I had never been before. I unbuckled and got out. The sun was setting in the distance. The sky was turning a beautiful pink. It took me a moment to notice that Mitch was there just looking, staring at me. I shut the door to his Lamborghini.
