• Aerad – Wind spirit, very dangerous. Do not ask for a ride.

    Faerad – Fire spirit, very social. Do not ask for homework help.

    Dryad – Plant spirit, very knowledgeable. Will not give help unless appeased.

    Aquad – Water spirit, very territorial. If you find yourself in aquad territory then you better have a good explanation.

    Dragon – Large lizard like creature. Most common variety has two wings, four legs and breathes fire. Very knowledgeable.

    Sorcerer – A human who enlists the help of an enslaved dryad, faerad, aquad, or aerad to gain magic abilities.

    Necromancer – Someone who uses his (or her) magical abilities to reanimate corpses and enslave lost souls.

    Wizard – Someone who was born with magical abilities and trains them during their life. All aerads and the like are natural wizards.

    Golem – A large person or figure made of baked clay (or other materials) that, with magic, has been given a semblance of life and an artificial spirit.

    Fibble – Small bug, some varieties have poisonous spines on their backs and will curl up in a ball to protect themselves.

    Treggor – Large predator, eats anything that can move. Has four legs. Back legs have paws with sharp claws, forelegs have hooves. Tears at enemy with sharp tusks.

    Shadow Walkers – Nothing is known of these strange creatures. Only by word of mouth do these creatures even come into the light of my study. They hide in the shadows and seem content to always been seen in the periphery of our vision, but never up close.

    Dwarf – A small, heavy set man (or woman) who usually live under ground, in seldom seen forges. They make the best weapons in the world and will give them to anyone who can best them at any contest of their choice. Except “Who is taller?” contests, they will not participate in this type of contest.

    Centaur – A race of half human, half horse wild-men (and women) who live in forests and practice astrology. It is said they can read the future from the stars. They are the best archers in The Kingdom Somnia.

    Fairy – Small flower dwelling people who usually live in small glades or near ponds. They have wings and do not usually wear clothes. Then again they probably do not need to.

    Minotaur – Half man, half bull. Very aggressive. Many rape charges brought before elfen council have been made by female minotaur owners.

    Harpy – Winged human. Usually lives in mountains or jungles, but some have been seen roosting in Ck’ No ekthuam.

    Egathaum – A living stone idol. It resides on the un-named mountain overlooking
    Ck’ No ekthuam. It also gives advice to those it deems worthy. It is believed that he is the being that created the gods.

    Siren – Aquads who take amusement in luring human men out to sea or into lakes with their beautiful singing.

    Heliotropes – A living pillar of flame. These beings wander the burning desert locked in mortal combat with their enemies the Sand Nomads.

    Sand Nomads – A tribe of sand men who inhabit the burning desert. They have complete control of sand and can even speak to it like a sentient being.

    Halfling – A half elf, half human person.

    Caloprod – A tribe of humans who have magic symbols tattooed on their skin on their tenth birthdays.

    Elf – also referred to as “The Fair folk” they are the second most magical creatures in the world of Somnia next to the dragons.

    Parengrol – A shape shifter that eats dragon eggs. It can take any form including that of a dragon. They all died out shortly after the Dragon Exodus (maybe).

    Witch – A human of unusual abilities who is able to use hexes, charms, etc. with the aid of a magic wand. Mostly female, they are usually of little ability and live in villages with regular people so as to act as potion-makers, doctors, etc.

    The Prophets of Egathaum – These children are the sons and daughters of the gods themselves. They were given to Egathaum as a tribute to the one being in this world that was older than time itself.

    Mepitilian(s) - The Mepitilians are the most advanced race in the world of Somnia. Their cities harness the energy of the plasma that lies deep below the earth’s crust. They can do virtually anything they want and have a cure for almost every known disease. Of course getting it from them would take a formidable army or an equally formidable source of money. They look and act like lizards, and as such, are cold-blooded. They inhabit the areas right outside of the many deserts of Somnia and the lights from their cities can be seen from miles away.

    Pathon - a solitary creature, which is possibly the single most important thing in the universe. This creature is part of a structure called the Node Point( for more information see Node Point Entry).

    Node Point - The Node Point is a magical structure which contains every known and possible universe. If any single entity could reign in the terrible power of the Node Point then they could deem themselves gods.

    Furnac - God of fire, corporeal form appears as a floating furnace with fiery limdbs.

    Vassen - God of Water, Corporeal form apears as a man made of water, whos bootom half is that of a snake.

    Grundac - God of Earth, Corporeal form appears as floating armor made completly of rock.

    Aisen - God of Air, corporeal form appears as a small orb of compressed air contained within a miniature cyclone.

    Elemental Envoys - Every 1,000 years, the gods of Air, Water, Fire and Earth come to Our world. They send these 8 envoys to our world first, to announce their arrivals. Their Names are:
