The car was heating up. But there was nothing Sarah could so about that. She was tied to the chair, duct taped over her mouth, and as heavily clothed. She had been in the car for about 10 hours, she was drenched with sweat, and suddenly, life started to run away from her.

As she started to close her eyes, a man climbed in the car.

"That's what you get," he said, as the world started to fade away. "That's what you get." And, not able to strive her self any longer, she started to give way to the greater power calling her. But, to her left, the man had no patience for even this short wait, and not knowing she was already dieing, he...

    --------------------------------------------------

It was all over the papers. Woman, tortured to death under heated car. Murderer unknown.

My job was to make sure that the murder DID become known, that he would be served to justice. I'm detective Timmithy Jones, not what you would call a pro, but don't call me rookie either.

Death by heat under car does not happen very often, and there were no handprints, no ballistic markings, and no knife marks to get clues for who the perpitrator was.

The car itself and it's license plate wasn't much help either. There was no license plate, in fact, and no finger prints anywhere to be seen in it. It was an old Cadillac, but that was about all we could get out of it.

The car was found in a ditch on the side of the road. And, yet, even though the death was made by heating, there are deffinite signs of blood on the victim, Sarah Macknollen, which was odd, since the death was by heating of car, not by stabbing. But, no bullets were found, and no stab marks either, so, what this blood means remains a mystery.

Looking at this case, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The woman was tied to the car seat, and she was very thickly clothed, so it was comfirmed that SOMEONE had the intention of killing her, and this was not an accident.
