Ok Mondays officially suck. First, some weirdo kid bumps into me and spills a cheap coffee on my shirt, Thank god it wasn’t my pants and than I forgot my lunch money! And we were getting a new student in period seven. That can’t be good. This was a crappy day. Period.
As the bell rang for the dreaded period seven I got up from the desk and dragged myself to the Biology room. In the hall I passed Hika-Chan and said a simple “Hey,” and walked into my class. As soon as I sat down Mistrialle was talking up a storm about how the hair dresser screwed up her hair. But that was months ago her hair now was pink and long, she often forgets things and she’s very hyper active. I just nodded and smiled at her. Than Miku walked in and sat down by me. He was wearing a black and pink hat with those danglely puffs at the ends and pink emo pants. And a white Ancafé tee shirt on with checkered slip on Vans. His hair was in the same bleach blonde spiky “Sasuke” hair style he loved so much, with two black bobbing pins holding his bangs. He turned and smiled at me not wanting to interrupt Mistrialle’s babble. Miruko-Sensei silenced the class and stood proudly at the front of the room,
“Guess what?” she sang with excitement.” As you know the new student is here today, ummm…” she glanced at her paper “Ritsuko-Kun please stand up” She said, no almost sang the words. A chair scrapped the floor and Ritsuko stood up he had red hair that almost covered his big round emerald eyes he also had a small silver ball piercing below his lower lip on the right.
“Gutan Tag! I’m Ritsuko Memriol and I came here from Germany’ he said in a velvet voice, “I’m not really German” he continued “I’m half German and half Japanese” he finished with a deathly smile, No really I could have died it was perfect and sat down. The rest of class I couldn’t stop thinking about his perfect voice. When the bell rang I grabbed Miku’s arm for support through the hellish hallways and into study hall. Thank god I had Miku my bi friend. Then Ritsuko walked into the class looking insanely hot.
“Miku” I whispered he looked at me.
“What you liiike him?” he said dragging the like.
“What?” I said I felt my face get hot.
“Oh c’mon Yuukie I can so tell.” He said and I could hear the smile in his voice. I glared at him and he shut up about it well, until lunch anyway.
After study hall was over, forty-minutes-of-hell as Miku calls it. Miku dragged me to his locker.
    “What?” I said.
“We WILL go to lunch together.” He said I sighed I knew I couldn’t win to Miku. At lunch we sat by Mistrialle and Reka. Mistrialle was already talking a mile a minute. And Miku talked to me the whole time about my new “crush”.

The rest of the day went by in a drag and I made plans to sleep over Miku’s house tomorrow. When I got home I threw my house keys on the table. Aoi wasn’t home yet I dropped my backpack on the hallway floor and walked in my big living room I curled up on the couch and flicked the TV on. I must’ve fallen asleep because I woke up and it was getting dark out. I noticed it was really cold hadn’t I turned the heat on? I walked into the kitchen and saw the window. It was open my eyes widened at the scene and I closed it quickly, was someone in here? No one knows where I live except for Miku and a few other friends. I tried desperately to calm myself with foolish lies when I heard a strange noise. I slowly turned heart pounding in my ears so loud I thought whatever it was could hear it. Something moved in the shadows well at lest I thought something did and I choked back a scream. The phone rang and made me jump I answered it,
“Hello?” I said into the speaker
“Hello.” Said a velvet pleased voice I didn’t recognize it.
    “Who’s this?” I asked desperately.
“No love, no time for introductions” he or “it” said pleased once again. “Are you willing?” he continued in the velvet voice
    “What?” I hissed back.
“To risk your life for that of your friends?” he said with a smile in his voice this had to be a trick I frowned it wasn’t funny.
“Ok look this prank call isn’t funny.” I said seriously. He laughed it was like a chorus of wind chimes.
“This isn’t a prank call love,” he said “I’m just as serious about it as you are and I’ll prove it. Keep your friends close you never know when the end is near.” And with that he hung up. I didn’t notice the annoying buzzing noise in my ear until Aoi walked in with grocery bags,
“Yuukie I’m so sorry I should have left a note I didn’t think about how worried you would-” I held up a hand to silence him
“Its all right Aoi, I’m fine.” I said smiling at him and then I grabbed some bags “Lemme help ya!” I said I started to put the groceries away and Aoi sat at the table
“So what’s for dinner?” he asked I smiled
“Miso soup it’s really cold tonight,” I said shivering for effect.
“Sounds good, could you put those mini corn in?” He asked looking at a paper I nodded and started the water. Thinking about what that guy said irritated me. After dinner I took a quick shower and started to go over the things I would bring to Miku’s.

I smelled brownies cooking when I walked in Miku’s house. He was the only friend I could turn to with the weird phone call and all. I had called him the night it happened and told him every thing. I dropped my sleeping bag by the stairs and walked upstairs. I knocked twice on his door.
“Come in!” he said I walked into his room he was sitting at his lab top wearing tight black capris and a pink shirt with frog prints on it with a small polka dotted hairclip with pink and green dots. He spun around in his computer chair to look at me
“Did they call again?” he asked concern on his face I shook my head.
“You know it was probably just a stupid prank.” He said turning back to the computer.
“I don’t think so they sounded pretty serious to me.” I said sitting on his silky bed cover. The phone rang and Miku sprinted down the stairs to answer it I quickly followed after him. Who would call at 1 P.M.? He was standing at
the phone saying hello about five times he finally shrugged and hung up the phone. It rang again and we looked at each other. I reached a shaky hand out to pick it up.
“…Hello?” I said into the receiver the same velvet voice answered
“Hello, love” My eyes got big and I hung up the phone Miku looked at me my heart threatening to break a rib.
“It’s him.” I whispered Miku grabbed the phone from my hands and put it back on the charger.
“Don’t worry I’m here for you Yuukie.” He said smiling I nodded. We started to go back upstairs,
“What did he say?” Miku asked.
“He just said hello.” I answered. Miku nodded thoughtfully.
“Do you think hell call your cell?” he said opening his bedroom door.
“I dunno how he would get-“I gasped and Miku turned his head to see what it was. A girl lay dead sprawled across Miku’s floor blood gushing out of her head. I put my hand over my mouth trying not to puke Miku’s eyes where wide. It was Mana Nanami's little sister.
“M...Miku.” I said blinking tears away he looked at me eyes still wide.
“Remember what he said to me on the phone?” I said he nodded “Maybe this is what he meant.”
