• I woke up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I swing my legs over the side of my bed and walked over to the doors to the balcony. I opened them silently and stepped out. The air blew my long wavy brown hair into my face and moved my short silk night gown slightly. The air had a strange presence that I couldn’t identify. “Get away form that balcony!” I heard my maid Patracia say from behind me, “What if one of your suitors came early and saw you in such little clothing?” she demanded. “Well if I end up getting married to them they will see me in much less won’t they?” I asked Patracia. “Now Miss Avangeline we shall have no such talk in this castle!” Patracia scolded. I turned toward Patracia as a strong gust of air came toward me. Suddenly something collided into me and knocked the air out of my lungs. I looked down and saw that I was soaring through the air. Then I realized that someone was holding me. I looked up and saw the most beautiful man I had ever seen in my life. He had chin length dark red hair and blue eyes that were so light they were almost white. He looked like and angel. His eyes seemed to suck me into a different world; then everything went black.
