• One day I woke up and went to the river to fetch some fresh water. When I arrived I saw a
    girl half-naked. She appeared to be a teenager with long pink hair, bright golden eyes, and a beautiful complexion. I ran to her side and picked her up and brought her home, then got some clothes on her so she could sleep in my room. The next day she woke up and came up to me and asked who I was so I said. "My name is Ryu and what may yours be."
    "I sorta don't know really, I do have a name right."
    "Everyone has a name why wouldn't you have one."
    "I don't know that's why I was asking you."
    "Well don't you have family."
    "I cant remember right now!"
    "Well hurry up and get something to eat I made ramen for us." She ate like she was starving. I went to the town nearby and I started asking people if they know anyone who lost a little girl, but I didn't find any answers. I did hear however that some boys came up missing, the people say they hear roaring coming from the forest about every night when
    the moon is full. So I headed back home before it got dark. When I got there the girl came up to me and said. "Ryu I know my name it is Kaila ain't that great."
    "Yes that is, but I need some sleep I suggest you too get rest."
    "There was something I want to ask you first do you find me attractive?"
    "Well, I think people would be blind to not notice your beauty, but I'm a little old for you though?"
    "It doesn't matter no one has ever treated me like you have."
    "I have no family that cares for me, no one but you."
    "Kaila, what are you...."
    "I want to give myself to you, feel the warmth of your body on mine."
    "I'm sorry Kaila I just can't, your like a daughter to me."
    Kaila ran into the other room crying, I wanted to comfort her but didn't know how,
    I dozed asleep thinking of her that night. When I woke I found that Kaila was gone I searched for days but never found her. In the middle of the night I woke up to the sound
    of someone screaming for their life. So I grabbed my blade and ran to where I heard it.
    The area was dark and silent around me, I looked up to see the moon full giving me a
    little vision, the trees around me took form of creatures and stuff of nightmares. The only sound's I could hear was the crickets chirping, my footsteps beating on the ground, and
    the silent wind blowing by. As I walked on I came to the river, staring into the chilling
    water I heard something from my side. I turn slowly to see a beast that resembled a
    wolf, but also to be human. It was nawing away at a child's body pealing the flesh with
    it's teeth, my body went cold scared to death I was frozen still. Watching the body being ripped to bits, I decide to act I began to back up slowly, but as I do the beast looks up to
    see me. Staring me down with it's emotionless eyes, it begins to charge with half the child's body in it's jaws. I try to take off only to be knocked down by the child's body, I
    quickly bounced up only to be grabbed. The beast flung me threw the air, I crash through
    the branches smacking into a tree. I find the strength to pull my blade from my side I glance around to see nothing. Then plummeting from the sky, I raise my blade knowing
    the end to be near, the beast crashes down on me. We tumble on the ground until it's on top of me, I begin stabbing and slashing to find that it was already dead, my blade pierced it's heart on impact. When I glanced to see the beast for a second time I saw Kaila stabbed and cut. Then I yelled to myself. "This cant be I didn't kill her I killed the beast not Kaila please wake up please wake up don't die." Crying hard I found myself holding the girls body my heart began to ache I felt empty, in my mind she was innocent and it was not. I carried her all the way to town before I fell to the ground I notice I've been bleeding the whole way, pulling Kaila in my arms I close my eyes as I draw my last breath.
