• He did it again! Every time her name was so much as mentioned he always lost control of his emotions. It wasn't love, no, that had long since died when she pulled the trigger, but it wasn't hate either. Sorrow perhaps? Sorrow for that he had not seen what that woman was doing to him all those years ago without his knowledge? Whatever the case, he had to see her at least once more.

As he ran down the corrider, drawing his handgun, he could hear the sounds of gunshots up ahead. "Please let me be there on time." he thought desperately as he pulled out his glock from his shoulder holster.

He bursted through large ornate the door to the main hall and almost dropped to his knees at what awaited him. His friend, Matthew, dead with two bullet holes in his head with her standing over his dead corpse. "REBECCA!" he shouted, feeling his anger and sorrow overwhelm him as he stared to the pale white woman with the smoking gun in her hands as the woman turned to him.

Rebecca merely smirked cruely at her former lover. "Kain," she said, "It's so nice to see you again. "Cut the c**p! Why did you do this?!" Kain exclaimed, his face contorted in pure rage as he tried to keep his tears from leaking out while he worked to his feet once more.

"Simple, because he was in my way. That's how our organization always works." she replied before giving out a short, yet cruel laugh that held no sympathy for her former lover's loss. "I'll kill you!" he swore as he held his gun up. "Please, as if you could-" Rebecca was cut off as two bullets tore through her chest, blood leaking out as she stared up in shock at Kain before dropping to the floor, dead. "If you've learned anything from being with me. It's that I always make good on my promises." he said as he spat on her dead corpse.

He looked over to his friend's dead body as a few tears threatened to come out. "I'm sorry." he apologized out loud. "But I have to grieve later."

With that said, he turned his back on the two dead bodies and walked on, tears streaming down his face as he would have one last kill to perform before he could finally rest. Reloading the ammo to his glock, he made his way upstairs and took a deep breath before he busted open the doors to the organization leader's private study.
