• I couldn't feel my arms. I couldn't see. I started to feel numb. "I'm so sorry, Beth." Charlotte apologized. "Um...It's...It's okay...I guess." I muttered. It was NOT okay! She had made me into a hideous monster! "The great thing is that you look dazzeling." Stefan added. Todd put his hand out for me to take and led me to a pond. I looked at the stranger staring back at me. Who was this beautiful woman? Why was she in my reflection? I let go of Todd's hand and touch my face, my fingertips feeling like velvet. The woman in the pond shadowed my movement. She had pale white skin, like Charlotte, Bright Yellow-orange eyes, and hair as dark as blood. I gasped. "You look beautiful." Todd whispered in my ear. "Come with me, before he comes looking for us." Charlotte said. "What do you mean 'he'?" Todd asked, turning to Charlotte. "The vampire leader. His name is Liam. Liam is very controlling and he runs around killing innocent humans. He will kill you or turn you into one of us if he finds us." Charlotte explained. I sat back down on the moss bed and buried my face in my hands. "Don't worry my love." Todd said taking one of my hands in his warm hand and kissed it. "It'll hopefully be over soon enough." Todd said. "But I will have to be a vampire for eternity." I mumbled. "When we get out of here when it's safe...we will go home and live like we used to." He smiled. "Beth will have to stay away from a lot of humans for a while...until she can control her actions...she can't go to school or home. But it'll only take a couple of weeks if she is trained properly." Stefan corrected Todd's assumptions. "Come. We must go to my cottage before Liam reaches our location." Charlotte said darting off into the woods. I grabbed Todd's hand and bolted next to her when Stefan. Then we arrived to the cottage when a few visitors were standing in front of the little wooden door. The crimson eyes were frightening enough to make someone faint. "Hello, Peter. Nice of you to be stopping by on us." Charlotte greeted the huge wolf in front of her. There was another wolf that walked up to me, seconds away from my face, and walked around me, as if to look at me from all around. The wolf made a low noise to Peter. Peter looked at me. Then the younger wolf and Peter went behind the cottage. I heard a wierd sound. It was like a shimmery sound. Then two young, attractive boys came out from behind the house. "Charlotte, Stephan." He greeted. "Who is this?" Peter asked Stefan. "She's...er...my...friend." Charlotte stuttered. "She seems to have quite the eyes to be your friend. Is she new?" Peter asked. "Yeah." Stefan cut in. Peter walked up to me. "Hello." He said oddly. "Hi." I muttered. "What is your name?" He asked touching my cheek. "B...Beth." I managed to get out. "Well Beth...Aren't you in good control of your actions." He said, taking my hand with his other hand that wasn't on my cheek. He got closer to my face. I could feel Todd's burning eyes on me. "Uh...I guess so." I mumbled. "You are beautiful for a vampire, Beth." He smiled, taunting Todd. "Hey! Hands off my girlfriend!" Todd shouted, pushing Peter off me. Charlotte and Stephan stared at Todd with their mouths open. Peter crouched, about to leap on Todd. Then he did. Peter was tearing at Todd's sensative skin. Blood everywhere. "Stop!" I cried, pulling Peter off of Todd. Peter bit Todd in his arm. Todd was writhing on the floor. "What did you do!?" I screamed, rushing over to Todd. "He's changing." Stefan said, listening to Todd's heart. Todd jumped this way and that. His back arching from the floor. Then he stopped. Suddenly a ripping sound came from Todd. Todd jumped off the ground and grew larger. He tore at his skin, ripping shreds off. Then in front of me...stood a brown furry werewolf. burning_eyes
