• All she could see was her own reflection as she doved off the stone carved bridge...
    "This is it...Isn't it..."
Emily was like most other girls at her school, she liked to hang out with her two best friends Taylor and Katherine. They would always go after school and hang out at the local park, watching the ducks, drawing, goofing off. It was the last day before school, Emily was walking on her way to school with Taylor when it happened. Without a sudden moment, she stood there emotionless at the horrible sight that she had seen...
"Taylor! No!" She screamed a blood screeched scream. Emily's vision was starting to blur, her hands felt numb and frozen, everything around her started to fade into a black aura...And then she fainted. The next thing she knew was seeing Taylor, smiling and waving at her near the big oak tree at the park.
"Emily...Come here." Without another notion, her feet started to move on there own, towards Taylor. The closer she got the more she could see what was happening to him. Cuts and gashes started to appear on his arms and body, his clothes started to tear, his flesh falling apart at the bone, his eyes oozing out blood and tears. She could only cry at the sight of her best friend Taylor.
"Whats wrong Emily...You seem scared..." With those words said she started to feel herself spin and feel numb again, all around her body was shaking, and pulsating.
"No! Go away! Your not Taylor, Go away!" With that final shout and scream she opened her eyes...And there she was. Laying on the sidewalk, feeling the crusty gravel against her back and hands. Trying to retain her thoughts and figure out what was happening. Then it hit her dead on...Taylor. She got up as quick and swiftly as she could and ran over to Taylor...A trickle of a tear ran down her face as she saw her friends empty shell of a corpse...
"T-Taylor...! I'm sorry..." She lay there, hugging his bruised and broken body, hugging him with every inch of her life. It's all my fault, she thought. He's dead because of me...She then lay her hand across his chest and examined his body, feeling his chest up and down trying to see if he wasn't dead, to see if he was breathing. Then her small frail finger met with a bump on his shirt collar. She then felt it, the small locket she had given him. She then unlocked it from the chain and opened the small golden locket...It had the picture of him and Emily, smiling at the park under the big oak tree...He kept it, she thought. With a quick thrust of her arms, she wrapped them around his body like the graceful wings of an angel, hugging the lost soul, and now being carried into the heavens by the miraculous angel.
