Very Different Friends

• Description: I was at my sister's grad party and my cousin and a little girl from... Kenya I think, became instant friends. They were 4 or 5. It made me think "Why can't we ALL be like that? No matter the color?" So I decided to share it with all of you. It was cute, and I think it just touched me. I decided to write it from my cousin, Trisha's, point of veiw. I don't know exactly what they said - so it's fiction.

There she was, sitting at the base of the tree. I didn't know who she was, or where she came from, but I decided she looked nice. I walked over to her, and introduced myself. She smiled back at me and asked me, "Wanna play?" So I chased after her as she took off.
She fell, and I was there to help her up. She smiled at me and said "You got me!" And we started laughing, like old friends.
I showed her all my favorite games, and she showed me hers. We smiled and laughed, inseperatable from the first hour.
She waved as she went away, and I waved back. Smiling, I went to tell grandpa about my new best friend.
That's when I realized... I didn't know her name!
