"I told you its over," my moms voice pierced throw my bedroom door, "I'm going now."
I turned my head away from my aggravating computer. i had no clue what to think. i looked over at my clock, 10:30, why was she yelling at 10:30 at night?
I would have usually ignored her when she spoke all lovey dovey on the phone with her boy friend, but she was yelling now.
I heard a faint noise come up from downstairs which had to be my grandmother since she was staying over that night. i couldn't tell what she had said but what ever it was made my mom's voice disappear from my room.
I looked over at my clock for a second time; 10:40, I then looked at my computer, the thing that i was downloading had finished and was now on my ipod. I unplugged my ipod and shut down my computer.
Once i got conferable in my bed i plugged my headphones into my ipod and watched the videos I had added to it. they were not that long so it didn't take that much time. i looked at my clock for one last time; 11:00. i then turned my head and body to one side and got conferrable again, and closed my eyes.
i turned to my side getting blinded by my bedroom lights. my mom was in my room ready to wake me up.
"Angie, get ready to leave." i looked over at my clock, then turned back to her.
"Mom, its 12:40, whats going on?"
"Just grab some clothes and lets go, your grandmother is downstairs ready to leave."
by now i was really lost. she started opening my drowars of my dresser, "mom all of my pants are in the laundry."
"just come downstairs then so we can go."
i slid myself out of bed and grabbed my cell phone, ipod, and purse before going downstairs.
"make sure you bring your school stuff." i heard my mom say from the living room, once i got down the stairs of our apartment.
my grandmother opened thr front door and walked out along with my mom not far behind her.
"mom i forgot one of my books," i exclaimed running back up to my room.
"make it quick," i heard her yell up the stairs before i got to my room.
i opened my bedroom door and walked over to my desk. my drawing that i was working on was still there on the top shelf to the side closes to me while my laptop stayed in the center of the desk not to far away.
i bent down near my black rolly chair and grabbed a green on book off the ground. once i was up i looked around the room and saw my cell phone charger. i walked over to my bed and bent over it to undo the charger from the wall. i took the charger and stuffed it into my purse.
running downstairs to the door i stopped at the bottom and bent down to give my new born orange and white kitten a kiss on the head. reaching for my bag that was laying next to his tail i opened the door and slipped myself out.
the first thing i noticed as i ran to my grandmother's car slash van slash who knows..... (to tell you the truth i don't know what car names are so if you ask me about any kind of car i'll fail) anyways like i was saying the icy cold wind blow against my bar legs. (i know i should have worn pants to bed that night sweatdrop but oviusly i didn't)
my grandmother and mom were already in the car waiting for me. the heat was blasting on high probably. i came close to the car and i heard the drivers car door open. my grandmother stepped out and started walking toward a police car that was heading our way.
once it was close enough the cop opened the window to his car to see what my grandmother wanted.
i opened my door to put my stuff inside as i listened to what she had to say.
"are you Linda Cross?" the police asked.
"no, i'm her mother and she is in the car right now along with my granddaughter. i feel like i have to take them to my house so we can feel better about the problem of my daughters boyfriend is putting us throw." my grandmother told him.
"i think that is smart of you and we will keep an eye out for him if you like." he answard her back.
"thank you, we'll be on our way," at that i shut the door to her car and sat back in the seat as i reached for my seatbelt.
on the ride to my grandparents house the roads were silent and dark. a thin layer of fog covered the floor of the road. as my mom and grandmother drove and talked about what had happened i put my head phones on and started listening to one of my fav. bands named Skillet. (which is a Christian band that plays a lot of heavy music)
we finally arrived at my grandparents house. i looked down at my watch; 2:30 (it usually took us an hour but my grandmother got off on the wrong road, so she ended up driving through Lyn which gave us an extra half an hour to her house) i walked up the stairs of my grandparents house; past her dogs that rushed down to meet her arrivel home. i found a confterbale spot on her couch in front of her TV and forced myself to try and fall asleep.
