"You....You..."
"I what?" Hexis stared at Elliot, his brilliant pink eyes never blinking. "Killed your brothers? Sucked the life from your play toy? You know, If you're going to blame me for something, you WILL have to be specific."
Elliot glared, his emerald eyes staining his vision red with blood and anger. "You killed them... My brothers...My love...Now what?!" he screamed. "NOW WHAT!?"
Tears rolled over his eyes, washing away small clumps of dirt and blood from his cheeks. His once long and golden brown hair was now choppy and stood up at odd angles. The color had faded to a dull brown and was matted threw with cakes of dirt and both fresh and dried blood. His green sweater barely covered his chest anymore, as it had large chunks of fabric ripped and sliced threw. His body was littered with scraped and scratches, cuts and bruises and bullet holes that bled freely.
"Do you plan to kill me too?!" Elliot huffed.
Hexis began to chuckle, then to laugh. " Kill you? Elliot, I CAN'T Kill you!" He looked to the bleeding man before him with insanity in his eerie pink eyes. " Know why? Come one, guess!"par
Elliot cried out, holding the gun up with his shaking arms. Hexis only laughed and started to walk lazily towards him. " Because I'm your Shadow. And A shadow cannot exist without a person to cast it, no can it?" Elliot shot.
The bullet collided with Hexis's shoulder, but it didn't appear to phase him in the least. Hexis continued to walk towards Elliot. "Keep shooting. It won't do a thing for yo-GAH!" Hexis cried out in pain. Hes abdomen felt so cold and numb, and yet it hurt so much! Slowly, he looked down, blood running from the corners of his mouth. From his stomach protruded a very large, shimmering blade.
Elliot smirked, his bloody face still covered with tears. "Nice one, Felix."
"Fe....Fe..." Hexis turned his head slowly, his eyes making contact with a second set of emerald green. Felix smiled, his left eye was scared and his face caked with dirt and cried blood as well. Hexis turned his attention back to Elliot, only to find that he was right before him, the gun to his chest. "You.....planned..."
"Yeah, we planned it." Felis replied, shoving the blade farther threw. " All to get rid of your b***h a** for good."
"B-but....You...can't." Hexis coughed, putting his hands to the blade in an attempt to push it from his body. "Not....po-"
"Watch us." Elliot cocked the gun and fired several rounds into the shadow's chest. Each bullet landed with bone or flesh, letting a sickening crunsh and slashing sound filter threw the air. Blood and entrails splattered over the ground and walls, as well as all over Felix and Elliot. Hexis hissed in agony as his body was pelted with the metal balls, breaking every bone they made contact with, ripping apart his insides. "Felix..... Let it go..."
Felix nodded, pulling the large blade from the humanoid-shadow's back. Hexis fell to the ground with a thump as hallow as his laughter. His eyes where rolled back into his head, his jaw locked open at a sickeningly wide mirth, and his torso was mutilated beyond any form of repair or recognition. He didn't more, nor breath. "He's dead....."
Elliot fell to his knees, the flickering florescent lights where casting an eerie glow all around the room. The room fell to darkness for a second or so, then returned to light. Felix placed a hand on his older brother's shoulder, tucking several strands of his bloody, dark-blond hair behind his ear. "It's over. We w-" His eyes widened in shock, an unintelligible gasp escaping his liips.
Elliot looked up to figure out what had stopped his brother. His eyes widened as well.
Hexis' body had began to melt away, leaving nothing but bone, blood, and the tattered remains of his cloths. The black liquid that had become his flesh slithered away from the remains, before bubbling and boiling under the heavy lights. It then began to evaporate, leaving no trace that it had ever been there but the bone and clothes.
"C'mon....Lets get out of here." Felix muttered, helping pull Elliot to his feet. Elliot nodded, his head light and his knees shaking. HE threw the gun to the floor, staring at the flickering shadow. He shuddered, and an odd something echoed threw his head. He fallowed Felix to the door, casting one last look into the room. HE took in every detail, his eyes landing on his flickering shadow. His heart stopped.
His shadow was staring back, it's brilliant pink eyes nearly piercing threw his soul. "I told you it was impossible." The words echoed hollowly threw his head, the laughed sending chills threw his spine.
