• "Wake up, sleeping beauty," he whispered into my ear.

I knew that voice... Edward Cullen. My own personal miracle, how could someone like me get something so valuable. I know that he hadn't come out from the pits of hell, not even heaven, where could something this perfect be created for someone as dull as me? Bella Swan, even the name wasn't too special. We got up from our seats and exited the plane, we had arrived. I'd never been there but from what I've seen in the magazines and advertisements, not to much photoshopping was done when it came to the lights, oh that's right; THE LIGHTS!

"Edward, we have to go now! This place, there's to many lights here! The Volturi will come, we have to take the next plane back to Port Angeles," I exclaimed. My poor attempts to warn him were of no use, he had a look of amusement in his eyes. He laughed, so did Jasper.

"Well, what's so funny? I'm only looking out for you, you should be grateful I take the time to think things through like an adult," I shouted.

    "Jasper, explain," he snickered.

"Bella, our skin doesn't react to false light, so you see, we've actually thought this out more than you assumed we have," he explained. He was still laughing a little between pauses. I huffed and stalked off, trying to show my obvious anger.

"Don't worry, it doesn't take much to get them laughing, even a freaked out girlfriend," Emmet said.

"Ha-ha," I said. I was sort of being a little to melodramatic...whatever, I still wanted to talk to Edward about something, something that had to do with the note I read, or attempted to read I should say. We got our key cards and went to our rooms, Alice and Jasper got connecting rooms to me and Edward's room, Rosalie and Emmett had connecting rooms to Esme and Carlisle. As soon as I unpacked, there was a cold hand around my waist.

"Are you still mad," he asked.

"Fuming," I whispered. It was hard to keep my breathing even with his arms wrapped around me so seductively.

"How about now," he said. He turned me around so that I was pushed against the wall and our bodies were mushed together, like magnets, except I was a bit more magnetic.

"More upset than ever," I said. My voice broke at the end, I stared into his eyes, they were a dreamy hazel, and his bronze hair fell playfully over his eyes. He rolled his eyes and bent his head so that it was resting under my chin.

"What if I said, I loved you," he whispered into the hollow base of my neck.

"I'd say that I loved you back, but it still wouldn't cover for you," I said. He raised his head so that his lips were barely touching mine.

"You sure about that," he smiled. He seemed so confident, and he already knew I was going to give in. Maybe I wasn't so obvious on the inside but on the outside I sure was.

"Positive," I said. At that moment he inched forward so that we melted together, like the last two pieces in the puzzle, our lips danced around each others and we couldn't help but give into temptation, he picked me up and I slung my heels around his waist. We collapsed on the bed and cuddled, I never wanted this to end, but once again he started to pull away.

"Why do you always do that," I pleaded.

"Bella, I can control myself, but not when it comes to the physical part of our relationship, I am still trying, you know that, I'm sorry I can't be strong enough," he apologized. It was fine I suppose, just as long as he would stay there holding me forever and never letting go. Then something flitted across my mind, that's right, I got completely sidetracked with him. I guess this is what happens when you fall in love with a vampire.

"Edward, there's something I want to talk to you about," I said.

"What, if you were wondering how false light doesn't hurt me, I don't know how to expl-"

"I found a note, in Alice's room, and I know it has something to do with me," I interrupted him in mid-sentence. His arms went rigid around my square shoulders.

"What note," he said. God he was such a good liar.

"You know what I'm talking about Edward Cullen"

    "I knew this would happen"

"So then why'd you try to keep it from me"

"I was going to tell you, but I was a little scared to bring it up, I didn't want to ruin the vacation"

"I know you planned this to get me out of Forks"

His face twisted into a sullen expression.

"Your right, I should've said something, I mean after all you are older than me, and I should respect my elders," he smiled. My eyes went wide and he instantly had a look of regret.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot how sensitive you were about that," he said. I scooted away from him, instantly regretting it, I didn't want to be free from his grasp. He took my hand.

"It's a long story," he admitted. I looked at the clock, 5:12, we had time. He followed my gaze and sighed. Our reservations at the car show didn't start till' 7:40.

"Can we at least see the car show first," he begged.

"Over my dead body," I stated.

His eyes slightly narrowed, he hated when I talked about me being dead. He sat on the nearby chair, and started to explain, somehow I was sure that I heard something that sounded exactly like a wolf howl outside the window.
