• "Ever since I met you... I wanted to be with you more." Gerard embarrassingly amed at his his hopes that she would confess something before him. He waited for a while, looking at Deserei's expression. She looked shocked, but she didn't say a thing. She just looked at him, blankly, blushing. After hearing silence for a while, he gave a big sigh and completed what he was going to say. "I love you, Deserei." She looked at him in gasp then covered her cheeks with her hands, feeling her hot blushing against them.
"I-I don't know what you want me say, Gerard. I just don't know." She smiled, lightly, looking down at the ground. "I do love you, too, but--we can never be together."
"What if I talk to your father about it?" Deserei quickly looked up at him.
"No! He-he won't allow it!" She calmed her tone. "I'm sorry, Gerard, but I don't want to see you getting hung by an innocent love between a princess and a peasant."
