• Our story begins...

Once, somewhere in the matter of the universe, in the Medieval period of civilization, thrived a town. But was no ordinary town. It was Rome, in it's most glorious moments. Gold, wine, and exotic products poured in from many conquered cities. This was, indeed, every one's dream in that period. It was simply beautiful. In this perfect state, lived two lovers. It was true, pure love which they experienced, that of which nothing could stop, or even corrupt. This love was what they had always wanted, Moira and Caesar their names were. They met and loved from adolescence to adulthood. Until, one fateful day, on their house, which was one of the many houses that were crowded in Rome. That day...
    "Hello, Moira, I'm home!"
    "Welcome back, Caesar!"
They kissed, the wonderful pair glad to be back together, even from few hours of separation.
"Moira... I have something to ask you..."
    "I also have something, darling."
"Moira... Do you believe in the creatures of the night...?"
    She laughed.
"Oh hun, those are just tales which poor men not in this empire make money off of. Don't tell me you bought into that?"
Caesar laughed, his thoughts somehow relating to the infamous Emperor of Rome who shared his name. However, he was still uneasy.
    "Well..." He said.
    "Well...?" She asked.
"It's... Kind of hard to tell."
Moira looked at Caesar with a questioning look. Not once in their lives had they kept a secret from each other. "...Did anything bad happen?"
"Well... I'm forced to believe such tales, for they are true..." He said in a troubled tone, with a just as troubled expression.
    "Why so, darling?"
"Well... Dear Moira..." Caesar nearly broke down as he told the tale of 'How a monster jumped out of the darkness and nearly bit me, while another struck him down and bit me instead.' What he was actually talking about how a Lycan saved him from death by Vampire, and bit him in order to save him from an incoming horde. This war behind the shadows was coming to Caesar, who unknowingly spread it to Moira. After the tale was told, the couple sat in silence, Moira bewildered and Caesar with his head in his hands.
    "Darling..." Moira started.
"Darling... What are you going to do? You know what you are now, right?"
Caesar looked up, tears in his eyes. The couple were a little above 20, and tears in either of their eyes were rare.
"Moira... I'm so scared I might hurt you... I wonder when the next full moon is, so I can lock myself up and rage until I sleep."
Moira was touched by this, but also frightened.
"Darling... That isn't needed... Perhaps we could... Use it, or turn it into some sort of advantage."
"Maybe. Was there something you wanted to tell me, before I told you all this?"
Moira remembered, but didn't want to. "Do you really want to know, darling?"
"Could be anymore horrid then what I have already spoken of?"
She sighed. "Well... I was going to ask if you wanted kids."
A silence crept over the entire house. Not even the mouse near the door moved. Nor the garbage outside, or the pedals on the various flowers in their kitchen. Then, Caesar spoke. He said...
