• tab I glanced down at my cell. 7:32 it’s said. The bus would be here any minute. I heared it coming up the street. I looked at the bus. Finally!!! I thought I grabbed my bag as the buss approached me. It stopped in front of my house. The doors opened I stepped on. The bus driver smiled and winked. I looked a way with a smile. A hand waved wildly in the air followed by a yell “Sophie”. I walked towards the yelling some people looked up others just ignored me “hi Andy” I smiled as I seat next to him. “So what’s up?” I throw my bags in to the seat across the pathway. I throw myself in to the seat and pulled up my sock I was wearing my favorite colors hot pink and bright green. My blonde hair in a ponytail hit against my ice-cold skin. “So did you do the social studies essay?” Andy asked with his usual smile. “Yes.” I laughed “If I didn’t Mrs. Lund would kill me.” The bus stopped short.
“Hi guys” Mabel said slugging herself over to my seat. She dropped herself down in to the seat it seemed as if she was still asleep. “Hey Mabel” I said in a loud voice to wake her up. “Why so loud?” Mabel cried. “Did you stay up late last night?” Andy asked “No…” Mabel shouted. I gave her one of my looks “fine I did” she confessed. A smile of satisfaction sat on my face. The bus stopped again. A boy with a winter hat on walked down the pathway. He had baggy jeans that where ripped at the knee “Yo” he said as he sat next to Andy. “Rob what is with this slang?” I snapped, “I thought we established I Hate it!” Andy chuckled “fine I won’t do it.” Rob chuckled lying back. “Good” I laughed “Don’t you mean lovely?” Andy chimed in. “stop that.” I play hit his arm. I turned to Mabel she sat there asleep in the seat. “MABEL” I shouted. She jumped up “WHAT… what happened!” Mabel yelled her eyes wide open. “You’re up” I joked “great” I made an evil smile, but I tried to shack it away.
I raced through the halls. Oh gosh! I’m going to be late for gym again. I ran spirited the hall then in the blink of an eye I knocked over a small seventh grader. “Oh are you ok?” I cried. I put my hand out for her to grab “Ya, I’m fine.” She laughed, “I’m fine.” I sighed “Oh! I’m so sorry.” I cried. “It’s cool!” I found she had an English accent. “You must be new here.” I said. “Yes what gave it away?” Your accent. “So, what’s your name?” I asked. “Emily Fawn” she blushed “I just moved here from England.” That name rings a bell. How do I now her? I now this girl. “I’m Sophie.” I giggled. The bell rang “bye Sophie.” Emily called as she ran down the hall “See you later, Emily.” I smiled and went back to dashing to gym. Gym was one of my best subjects (because I was good at all my subjects). I was very active always on my toes. My only problem was being late.
“Sophie were have you been?” Rob asked as I Sat next to him. “I had to return my liberty book.” I panted. “Well you missed this kid fall in the hall. She fell down the stairs got up and said 'I’m okay, it’s all good' I was cracking up." Andy laughed. I laughed too. Mabel nodded “It was pretty funny.” “So what did you guys think about that social studies test?” Rob chuckled (still laughing from Andy’s story). “I thought it was hard” Mabel shrugged. Andy nodded “it defiantly was hard.” I shock my head in disagree meant, ”I thought it was easy.” “You think everything is easy.” Rob complained. I gave him a sharp look. He gave me a face that said ‘ it’s true’. I sighed and lied back. I suddenly caught eye of Emily. She sat next to a pale boy with shaggy dark brown hair. I got another feeling that I now him. Summer camp, tutoring, or maybe even writing class? Where do I now these kids? Oh, I now …um… err…track? This is going to bug me all day. Why would I now him his looks so gothic? I felt my stomach in knots. “Sophie!!” Mabel said “hello?” I turned towards her “sorry I zoned out.” I giggled trying to cover how nerves I was. I beat that boy is Emily’s brother.
I sat myself next to Olivia. “Hey Olivia what’s up?” I asked. “The sky.” She giggled. I giggled, “thanks Doctor Smarts” I said. Mr. Sautter cleared his throat signing everyone to be quiet. “So you up for shopping tomorrow?” Olivia whispered. I ripped a piece of paper out of my book. ‘Sure’ I wrote. ‘Great’ Olivia wrote back she made a doodle skull. Olivia was just a big skater girl. I drew a heart with stitches through it. “Miss. Sophia?” Mr. Sautter asked me to answer the question. “Oxygen.” I answered, “That’s correct.” He said
The bus stopped again. I grabbed my things “bye guys.” I smiled and ran off the bus. “Honey” mom said as throw my book bag on the table ”a letter came for you in the mail” she handed me the letter. There was no return address. “Thanks mom.” I said running to my room. I opened the letter:
