• Once you die, it is said that your soul either rests in internal peace….or your soul wonders, doomed to stay on earth. Sam was a regular teenage girl, long hair, that she hated, a magazine of all the dirt on celebrities under one are coffee in her hand, trying clumsily to answer her friends by text. Sam, hated her parents, like all do at some point… was mean and was lost in a technological trance. She was just trying to get home from a hard day of work…answering her friends desperate need to catch up when, she had taken a step into the road to soon, a truck desperately tried to miss the teen, but failed. Sam felt a rapid rush of pain, a crack…then silence. She woke up in a hospital room…but something wasn’t quite right. Her body was lying…stone cold on the bed. What is going on?!! Sam said, while trying to pinch herself…wake her from such an awful nightmare. She tried to shake her body lying on the bed…but she paused in horror. Her hands were translucent, she ran towards a mirror in the hospital bathroom…her whole body was see through. Sam began to panic, I’m dead! I’m dead! What do I do?? Omg, someone help me!!!! Sam screamed, but no noise came out, she was mute in the thick summer air. Sam rushed back to her room, running through people, as they walked down the hallway, not even aware of Sam. She ran right through the door of her room…she stopped dead, Mom! Dad! Please I’m right here! Can’t you hear me? Sam cried desperately but her parents were enthralled with, the girl on the bed. “Sam, please wake up please.” Sam’s mother repeated, over and over in each time more painful. Sam couldn’t bear it, she slumped, feeling hopeless; she just kept walking, lost in her own world. While walking down the street, a teen boy with bright blonde hair stopped dead in his tracks…staring down Sam. “Can you see me???” Sam said quietly noticing he was staring at her. “Oh never mind you probably can’t even hear me, god I hate this.” Sam said laughing at herself. “I can see you…and hear you, I just was starring cause your very pretty, haha…sorry.” He began to walk down the street and she fallowed him frantically. “You can see me!!! You can see me!?” The boy looked at her like she was insane “Um yeah....you’re a little crazy aren’t you?” Sam became annoyed…”Idiot! I’m in a comma right now…I’m just a soul! No one else can hear or see me!” “Hahah…prove it!”
