• Lila was born 7 years ago, on July 8th 1935, she was left on the porch of the Gringles orphanage 6 days after she was born. She spent her whole life in the orphanage, behind its “protective” walls. Children started disappearing on August 24th 1941, 8 months after Mrs.Varson bought the orphanage.

    The first child to disappear was Lila’s best friend, Morgan Black. At 3p.m Morgan shattered a plate in the cafeteria, Mrs.Varson stormed in and grabbed Morgan by the arm and dragged her to her office. After two hours in her office Morgan came out followed by Mrs.Varson. At 5 p.m Morgan followed Mrs.Varson down the long stone corridor through the door, and never came out. That same night Lila heard what she thought was screams coming from down the hallway. And even later that night Lila got up to go to the bathroom and looked down the hall only to see Mrs.Varson leave through the door with a black liquid dripping off her hands.

    After that more than half the kids got “adopted” as Mrs.Varson said. Lila didn’t know if she had really seen what she thought she had seen so many nights ago, but she definitely knew something was going on. 1 year after that, she knew she had to something about it.
