    Chapter One

Diclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Twilight

Draco sat on a wooden bench outside his house reading a letter he had just got:

    Draco Malfoy,
Hogwarts would like to welcome you back for your sixth year on the twenty fifth of August.
Enclosed are the lists of books you will need for the year.

    Professor Snape

Draco took the book list out and was about to read it when Narcissa walked over to him.
    She was shaking slightly.
    “Draco,” She said.
Draco looked up at his mother with wide eyes.
“The Dark Lord wants to see you,” Narcissa whispered.
Draco stood up. Dropping his gaze to the ground, he placed his letter on the bench
He nodded, “Okay,” he said to Narcissa.

    * * * * *

“Come in Draco,” The Dark Lord’s raspy voice called from a chair by the fire, as Draco stood in the door way. The chair’s back was to Draco so he couldn’t see the Dark Lord. Not that he wanted to.
“You called master?” Draco asked trying to make his voice sound loyal and trustworthy as he took a small step into the room, though inside he was as scared as a little five year old, getting his lollipop stolen. Draco was really glad the Dark Lord couldn’t see his face.
“Draco, I have a small task I want you to do for me,” He said pausing a moment to take a deep ragged breath.
Draco froze, he knew this was going to happen. Ever since his father had been sent to Azkaban, he knew that the Dark Lord would make him do some sort of ‘task’.
“What – What is it, my lord,” Draco asked trembling with fright.
“Draco, I would like you to kill…Dumbledore. And I feel you’re shaking, but you must do this, or you, and mother, and your father, all those people who you love the most will die, including that precious mud-blood of yours. All these people mean nothing to me,” The Dark Lord said calmly. “You will fix the broken vanishing cabinet, since the other one is in Hogwarts, if the broken one is fixed then my death eaters will be able to enter Hogwarts.”
Draco shivered, and said terrified, “Ye – yes, my Lord.”
“Now get to it,” The Dark Lord snapped.
“Of – of course, my lord,” Draco said, backing out of the room.
As soon as he couldn’t see the room anymore, he turned and ran. Away, away from everything, past his mother waiting for him, screaming at him to come back, he didn’t stop till he collapsed on a big green hill.
Draco stood up and turned to face his house. It was far in the distance, but it was still enormous. The towering white house was complete with a massive wall and gate, a grand golden fountain, and a luxurious garden filled with garden elves scurrying about. Draco turned his back on the magnificent house and gazed at the muggle city on the other side of the hill. Draco pulled out his wand from the inside pocket of his jacket. “Acio Trunk,” he whispered. He walked over to a big oak tree and sat down in the shade waiting for his stuff.
A few minuets later, Draco’s trunk flew to a stop at the foot of the tree. Draco sighed as he climbed to the bottom of the hill and summoned the Knight Bus.
A big blue double-decker bus slide to a noisy stop on the green grass, wet with the early morning dew. The door clanged open and a tall young man stepped out of the bus.
“Knight Bus here, I’m Stan and I will be your conductor for the night,” Stan said bowing down low. “Where ya heading?” He asked straightening up again.
“Diagon Alley,” Draco answered quietly, looking at the ground.
Stan nodded, “Okay.” He stepped back into the train, and walked over to the bus driver. “To Diagon Alley,” He said.
Draco stepped into the train after Stanley. He sat at a cold hard seat in the back of the bus, staring out the window. Draco was well aware of Stanley glancing at him every now and then. He seemed to be worried about him, probably wondering if he’d ran away from home. Well that he kind of did.
“DIAGON ALLEY!” Stanley’s booming voice announced.
Draco and a few other wizards and witches got up to get off the bus.
“Come again!” Stanley yelled as the door slammed shut.
When he was done he turned to Borgin and Burkes to get the cabinet fixed.
“Hey there,” the shop owner said.
    “Hey,” Draco said.
    “Can I help you?”
“I need you to fix that for me,” Draco demanded, pointing at the big cabinet in the corner of the dark store.
“Wha-What? I can’t do that, especially for a kid! I’m very sorry,” He said.
Draco walked up to the shop owner. “You will do as I say!” Draco said.
“I’m afraid I can’t fix the cabinet for you,” he said amused that a child was threatening him.
Draco rolled up the sleeve on his right arm The Dark Mark was there etched onto his skin.
The shop owner gasped. “You’re a death eater? But – But your just a child.”
“That’s right. Now…will you fix it for me?” Draco asked calmly.
“Sure! Of course,” he said quickly. “I’ll notify you when it’s done,” he said nodding.
“Very well, but if you don’t fix it…I know Feir Greyback,” Draco said threatening him.
The shop owner nodding his head quickly and fearfully.
