• Anzei and Maria were walking trough the forest. Anzei was just enjoying the great outdoors while ignoring Maria's whines. "Ugh. Anzei where are we and where are we going!?" she whined while drinking some water from her canteen. Anzei just smiled at her and started walking backwards "A bard has no destination..." Maria grunted as she put his canteen back to his bag. After a while Maria asked "Anzei why do you always smile?" she said tilting his head while walking. "Well it's-" but before he could even finish a sound of rustling sand was heard. Anzei looked at his shoes as he saw his shoe buried half into sand. "Sand? Where are we?" he asked to himself. Maria put down his bag and started rustling trough his things while Anzei was busy kicking some sand for some reason. After looking trough her stuff she finally got out her Map and started looking where they were as Anzei peeked at her. Then her finger pointed to a vast piece of land called... "Desert of Dreams" they said together.

    Then after a while of thinking Maria packed his bags and said "Well we'll need to g ba-" then he she heard a voice."Hey what are you doing there let's get going!" Maria looked back as she saw Anzei in the dessert, far from her waving his hand. Maria gave out a big sigh as she walked towards him. Anzei just smiled at her as he waited for her. After a while Maria was back to whining, this time on how hot it was."Anzei you idiot, why the hell did you drag me to this place." She said as she whipped some sweat from her forehead. Anzei looked at her with a little confusion, "Huh? You could have just left me. Why was that?" she asked with a cute confused face. Maria blushed a little as she turned around. "Uh, you’re my... business partner why would I leave you?" she said. Anzei stopped and hugged her tight "Thanks..." he said teasing her with a gentle smile. Maria's face grown red as she pushed Anzei back. "YOU IDIOT!" he said as he ran to Anzei and started hitting him. Anzei giggled as he avoided her punches with ease.

    Suddenly Maria looked at the horizon. She smiled with excitement as she saw an amall village in the middle of the dessert. Maria insisted Anzei to follow as she ran to the village. When she neared the village Maria saw people who welcomed her bearing food and wine. Maria was amazed as she chomped down the fruits and meat and drank all the wine. After that she saw a small lake where she jumped in it and splashed her surroundings. She even got more excited when she saw Anzei right next to him naked in the lake. Maria's hart was thumping fast as Anzei neared her. Then she got ready for a gentle kiss, and when her lips were not far from his...

    "Maria! Maria!" she heard as she sat up and saw Anzei right next to her. Anzei gave out a big sigh, "You had me worried there for a second." he said smiling as he sat right in front of her. "Huh what happened?" Maria asked scratching her head in confusion. "They say that when it's your first time crossing the Desert of Dreams you will see your greatest desire. After you took a few steps you fell into a deep sleep and I had to carry you until the edge of the dessert." He said. Maria's face turned red with embarrassment. She saw Anzei noticing her face all red so she had to change the subject. "Uhm...Why did you carry me then?" She said hoping for an answer like "...Because I like you" or something similar. Alas, his heart was shattered when Anzei said, "Huh? It's because were business partners remember?" He said with a warm smile. Maria grunted as she clenched her fist. "Anzei!....You!...IDIOT!" And that was the first time a girl kicked her arse. Fate has a strange sense of humour.
