• Shade instinctively turned at the sound of her name, while Shadow had awaken due to the shouting. He saw Shade and got up and ran. Shade threw a poisoned knife at her lieutenant and ran after Shadow. She launched Fireball after Fireball and Shadow just dodged and dodged. Then he tripped over a fallen branch. Shade fell upon him. He kicked her off as she started a clawing frenzy. She jumped back and hissed. Shadow ran and Shade chased. Shadow was clearly at a disadvantage. Not only was Shade a full vampire, but because she worked with the Nightstalkers, she knew these woods better than Shadow did. Shade was upon Shadow. She flew in front of him and tripped forcing him into a forward somersault.
“Hey brother, I learned a new trick. Wanna see it?” Shade created several Fireballs in a floral position. The new “trick” was the Fire Lotus. She launched every Fireball, each one connecting with Shadow. Poor Shadow's body was devoured by the flames and would've died if he hadn't been by the Village of the Blue Mist, where a little blonde girl was playing. She heard the fighting and saw Shadow in flames. She knew he was the good one and charged uttering a bizarre war cry.
“What the-” was Shade's reaction. The girl then launched a Tornado sweeping the fire away from Shadow before it could kill him.
“You're going to pay for your interference, little girl!” Shade shouted. She launched another Fire Lotus but the girl was already gone.
“Up here, Ugly!” The girl called carrying Shadow in the sky flying. Shade grew furious and called the Nightstalkers to attack. But before they could, the little girl had shot a green flare earlier
alerting the Black. Ops who then ambushed them. The Nightstalkers were just 10 the Black Ops were 25. The Nightstalkers, including Shade, fled.
“I swear, Shadow, even if it takes all of eternity, I will kill you!” Shade then made a tactical retreat, aka running away. Lieutenant Toshiro then walked over to the girl and Shadow.
“Is he in need of medical attention,” Toshiro asked. The girl looked up.
“Yes, he's been badly burned. Please help him,” the girl responded. Toshiro nodded his head and proceeded to heal his burns.
“There. Now he just needs some sleep. Can he stay at your house?” The girl nodded and proceeded to carry him on her back though he was a whole year and a half older than her. Toshiro called to her.
“Good job, Amy. Maybe someday, you can become a Black Ops. Officer like me.” Amy turned and smiled.
    “Just like you, Uncle Haku?”
    “Yes.”
Amy smiled and carried Shadow back to her house.
