• A glass sphere rolls swiftly over the top of a table, strewn with tools that appear to belong in a hospital. As the strangely colored orb, seemingly ridden with images of dark clouds reached the edge, it tipped and fell. The carpet beneath was not thin, in fact it was thick, and colored with a beautiful scarlet red. The plummeting glass orb seemed to fall in slow motion as it dropped closer and closer to the ground beneath. When just a small part of the orb touched the carpet, the clouds seemed to suddenly fill with that same color, and drops the color of blood , began to fall, and when it did, the rain colored the image of snow that shifted into view with the shape of crimson wings. A boy was lying there beneath the stormy sky, his skin pallid and soft seeming. The boys hair was covered in snow but the colors were somewhat visible, a soft and yet somehow sharp silver color which lined a pallid face and eyes that just now began to flicker as if he were going to wake. When the boys eyes opened, there color shimmered for a moment then his eyes went dull. The boys head shifted to the side slightly and now he was peering towards the sky, silvery gray eyes piercing into the void of storm clouds above him. The eyes shined suddenly alive and when a drop of the blood landed in one, it changed colors, shifting from silvery gray, to a soft and gentle moss green only it had a slit within it. The boy was now standing within a field of lushes green grass spattered with blood and bodies were strewn around him, an insane grin spread across his lips, sharp jagged teeth showing through the pale colored things. A single blue black wing, and another blue white one spreading from his back and laughter filling the air sharply.

Preview of chapter one - My Nightmares are breaking me down

Shatter fall sat up rather suddenly in bed, his heart pounding like crazy, and his flesh baring small little drops of sweat. His breathing was ruff and quick as he tried to calm himself down, while with a lift of his arm, he swept back some of his silvery hair, eyes closed and clenched tightly. Shakily, he breathed in deep and dropped his hand to his side. He allowed his eyes to open slightly, and rather slowly because he was afraid that the images wouldn't be gone, feared that they were real. As he opened them, the color was revealed. The right eye seemed to be a very pale and almost unnoticeable shade of green, and yet, it was truly just a silvery gray. The other eye, now covered suddenly by his wet hair, was still the same piercing color as well. With a sigh of relief Shatter Fall slowly stood up, stretching pleasantly before glancing into the mirror that sat upon his black painted walls. Nothing seemed different about him except for maybe the new stress that was added onto his list of worries. "Nightmares...they get worse and worse every night. I don't understand them either....i hope this gets better, or else Greed may notice my changes." With this he turned and headed towards a door to his right, it was colored a dark reddish brown, the wood known as cherry wood, and reached his hand out for the golden knob that seemed out of place, on the beautiful piece of art.
