Just another day at school, and I'm sitting down in the usual spot- the seat next to the table I started at in the beginning of the school year. I look across the cafeteria, and something is different- I see Her. Emily, a friend from a previous school, is sitting at a table. I stand up and begin to go to her, and as I do so, my clothes change from my regular street clothes to a reflective blue button-up shirt and black pants with a black dress jacket and black dress shoes. Once I get to her, she smiles.
I said, “Hi, Emily! How've you been?!”
“Fine. So what's up in Patrick-Land?”, she responds.
She's always said 'Patrick-Land' when asking me how I've been. She's wearing a coal gray sweat shirt, blue jeans and a jean jacket. She's always been a 'free-spirit', seeming to always be on the move. Maybe that's why I'm so fond of her; her open heart and vibrant spirit, seemingly untamable, drawing me to her like a magnet.
“You know, same ol' same ol'.”
“That's good. Come with me.”
She grabs my hand and begins to walk. We go through halls, corridors, rooms I've never seen in the school; the path leads us through a corporate area with metal detectors, ringing phones, and busy assistants.
She lets go of my arm, and begins to run. Smiling, I give chase, shortening the distance between us. She runs through a room like that of a bedroom or a messy living room. Looking around, I notice her grey sweat shirt on the floor, and pick it up. I then call out, “ Come get your sweater, Em!”
I then try to run, but my legs don't move faster than a walk. She comes out of another door, wearing a bunched up, partially removed shirt, her belt half-removed, and her jeans unbuttoned, but not revealing anything. She looks upset. Still smiling, I said, “Come and get your shirt.”
“No.”
Suddenly a partly dressed man walks out, and I realize what was going on. Hurt, I begin to walk around, nervously, and thoughts start running through my mind. She just stands there, as if waiting for me to say something. I ask if she still wanted me to walk her to her car. She refuses. I then ask her to leave so I can clean up. She refuses again. I ask her if we could sit down and talk about this, and she says “no”, coldly.
My heart feels as if it is breaking.
I wake up.

- Slightly morbid. but has lots of detail. sounds like an erotic novel a little bit now that i think about it.
