You could tell. The way she looked at me. I hardly glanced up until I knew Kizuma was gone. I heard a chair scrape. "Everyone... I feel tired.. so.. do what you want." This, of course, was no Mrs. Madell. Something had happened. "Kizuma requested some time." It seemed that she had caught my dazed look. She left, holding her head as though in regret. "Way to go, Kizuma!" a kid shouted out. I turned my head, to find him smiling. Sure, he was adorable, cute, handsome. Anything a girl could wish for. But just wasn't what I was looking for. I began reading again, but this time, he directly addressed me. "Dear girl, you have not said a word to me at all! Is there something wrong?" I spun around, a little ticked off. "Yes... of course...!" I said through clenched teeth. He was still smiling. It made me even angrier. "What is it then? Surely, I haven't done anything to make you mad." I clenched my fist, and my body shook with rage. "I'm a little hungry actually." He said this in a sweet, child voice. To make matters worse for himself, he took up Mark's lunch bag, and pulled out his pudding and spoon, then ate. "Don't mind do you?" The girls sighed, and every boy plus me, were feeling a little angered. "No...." Mark quietly said. Though it was quiet, the anger in his voice was noted. "But I do.." Heads spun into my direction. I was unaware that I had said this, for his smile had fallen. "You can't expect special treatment from everyone.. Just because your a model, it means nothing..." Kizuma raised a perfect brow. "What are you referring to?" "I'm referring.." I could feel my anger rising higher and higher, and he was just pushing it. "To the fact... that you just took someone's snack. I'm referring... to the fact you barge in here, thinking your welcome when you most certainly are not... In my mind, we're all equals, some seemingly over them all... but you.." I stood up, and pointed an angry finger at Kizuma. "Things are going to change from here on out...! You either treat us all the same, or we'll treat you just the same as you do to us. Lowly, filthy, slave-like. What now Kizuma...?" I could tell I shocked Kizuma, and everyone else. Had I cared...

Rea stood in a shocked silence. In her mind, I knew she was in an angered silence. But, we all knew we agreed with her. She was right. Jake, Gabriel and Mark all nodded their heads, then raised their hands. In unison, they cried out, "We agree!" Kizuma protested. "You can't do that! I can give you all a bad name around the world!" Mark sneered and wittily replied, "All you'll do is show how much of a jerk you are!" Rea shook her head. "Not just that, but your putting us all in a corner, putting you out into the light. What happens when you finally say the truth? We get pitied and good things. You get bad stuff." I watched in awe. I was the one in a corner. I couldn't find a light. They would squash me like a bug out there. I stayed hidden. I wrote in my messy handwriting that only Mrs. Madell could read, 'I quit the play!' The day was a blur as I stared at my message, wondering when she will see it.

"Cast list is up~~!" Maria called playfully. Yes, they were up. The roles?
Mahema: Rea; Jake: Nobu; Sayuri: Daisy; Chairman: Mark.
The list was not completed, not yet. But these people would have to get rehearsing straight away! I sighed. I was left out again. Kizuma was outraged that he hadn't gotten the role of Chairman or Nobu. "Oh they cannot be as good looking! Nobu is missing an arm for an instant!" Mrs. Madell said briskly. "I wish to be a part that has to be with Mahema!" Rea sighed. "Mrs. Madell please, PLEASE do not put me with this dimwitted, fake so-called human being." Mrs. Madell then cried out in frustration. "Both of you, hush your mouthes!"
    End of that.

"Honestly, Sayuri. Do you think that the mouse will get eaten because it runs by the cat and the cat wakes up?" We were on stage, after a month of rehearsal. The play was going well, and Juri watched with intent eyes. We skipped every inappropriate scene, and it was going well. A few scenes passed, and we skipped practically a quarter of it all. It was after the war. "How have you been Mahema?" Mark asked nervously. I laughed as delicately as I could. "The war has troubled me, of course. The Baron refuses to speak to me. But I have been fine. How has Sayuri been, Chairman?" Daisy spoke up, her voice small, but strong. "I've been great, Mahema! The war has affected us all, no doubt." I smiled at her, and Mark said more confidently, "At least she was under your care, and not Hatsumomos!" This was his favorite line, for Hatsumomo was played by Maria. Knowing we fight, but are friends, this fit perfectly. "She has gained your charisma!" I laughed once more. "Please, Chairman. Sayu- Chiyo, has had it i her all along. Hatsumomo would of drove you crazy, Sayuri!" The narrator continued. "Hatsumomo and Pumpkin had survived the war, and are now unknown around the parts of Gion. Note that Mahema has used Sayuri's real name, and not her geisha name." Mark, Daisy and I looked out to the crowd. Juri watched me closely. "I guess... Gion will return to its normal state soon enough." I said a little quietly. "Yes... hopefully." Mark grasped Daisy's hand, and I felt a pang of jealousy. We walked off stage, as the narrator said her final lines. "Gion did return to normal. Eventually. Mahema, Hatsumomo, Pumpkin, Sayuri, Chairman, Nobu, Baron, everyone else, would like to thank you for coming. Come on out!" We all ran out, holding hands. My heart beat fast as I was holding Marks.

Jake had not much a special role. 'Mr. Lizard' came running out with both arms on, and everyone took an enormous bow. The ran off the stage, through the door. Rea picked up Juri from the crowd, and yelled over the crowd, "How was it, Juri?" "Great!" She walked out, smiling. I was left back at the little stage. I sighed, and picked up one of the geisha's fans. I dropped it and ran out, suddenly crying. I saw.. my mother... and father... and not only that.... but a dead body before me. I screamed. Kizuma was sprawled onto the ground, clothign ripped, and a note stuck to his back. 'One problem down.... Say anymore to anyone you hate..' I blinked several times. I took this in. But a tear still rolled down my cheek. Who ever had done this... was sincere.. but cruel.
