• Like any other teen, Elizabeth once had a dream when she was a kid. Her memory bank still holds onto the soft voice that she heard so many years ago when she was around ten to eleven. It was smooth, softer than a mother's calming lullaby. Her ears yearned for the voice and her heart ached every time her memory bank brought it up. She was fifteen now and was getting into trouble a lot, more than any other girl at her school. Her grades were a bit low and her impressions on a guy were not any better than a science nerd.

She got insulted almost every day by a gang. It never ceased to amaze her how much trouble they got in, yet they were never caught doing something illegal. The cops always waved them off with a ticket which the leader never really paid. She was getting so sick of being the only one to get beaten up while rich teens walked by her with out a care in the world whether she got killed or not. Elizabeth was about to end her life, all with the help of a bridge. Surely other students would care if they found their class mate's body floating in the river. She put her plan into motion by leaning over the railing of the bridge.

Her eyes looked around nervously, hoping no one would stop her. Once she saw it was safe, she began to climb on top of the railing. She was so caught up in her plan until the voice that she always wanted to hear again, came back into her head, fulfilling her heart and ears desires. Her body stopped in the middle of her plan at work and she snapped her head around, hoping to find the person who was talking to her. She gritted her teeth as the voice drifted away and she let go of the railing, letting her body fall toward the flowing river.

She smiled and closed her eyes, awaiting the cold river that was gushing underneath her. A dark figure came out of the shadows of the bridge and leaped toward Elizabeth's body, catching her in one swift move, landing onto the other side of the river. Elizabeth snapped her eyes open and looked into the eyes of a man that was a lot taller than herself.

"Why" Was all the man would say and leaned down, smothering Elizabeth's mouth with his own.

Elizabeth was still a bit shocked, knowing that this man was the person who she had been looking for, yearning for the soft voice that she held deep in her memory as a child. Elizabeth gave in to the man's kiss and allowed the man to touch her body. The man's hair was as long as something that came out of a story book about princes and princesses. The man held both of Elizabeth's hands with one hand while exploring the teen's chest with his other.

"What's...your name?" Elizabeth asked, trying not to sound too excited about a man touching her.

"Baden. You have entrancing brown eyes, but they're clouded with dark circles, tell me why that is so" Elizabeth turned her head toward the bridge that she tried to fall off of.

"Your voice...was all that I lived for...you were never there but I always heard your voice...so I was always troubled with school, hoping that if I fought someone, you would come for me or at least say something..." Tears streamed down Elizabeth's face while Baden let go of her wrists.

"Come" Baden stood up and walked away, leading the way under a bridge. She followed him.

The man stopped and gazed into Elizabeth's eyes before kissing her again and again and whispered into her ear, "I'll turn your tears to roses...don't kill yourself or else you will not hear my sweet whisper." Elizabeth nodded only once while the sound of cars drove by.
