• on her first day of school she got ready just as a normal girl would, did her hair, got dressed, brushed her teeth, laced her corset, and put on her dress. now, her dress, unlike many children was old fashioned, and beat up, with it's faded burnt rose color, the black frayed ribbons and lace, and white edging on the sleeves she looked extremley bad, considering she was put together with patches. the patches were of all diffrent colors, blue, green, aqua, eggplant, black, and also in many diffrent patterns, whether it be stripes, spots, swirls, or, well, anything there. her eyes were two diffrent buttons, one being black, the other a blue-black that was smaller ontop of the diffrent colors.

she was excited and glad to be going to school and meeting all the new people. she tightened her seams, in dress and flesh. and her mother, being of actual skin, kissed her gently on the cheek and said "now if you don't want to go you don't have to sweetie." but the patch work student had decided she did and she, being extremely hard headed wouldn't reconsider the ignorance of the other students.

Her mother lead her to the carriage and stepped in and requested to her driver, Mr.Madison, to drive her to school. "Yes madame Duefray." now as was not a custom her mother was called madam duefray being her last, and maiden name while her actual name was Ashlotee Patch, but she was scared patch would insult her daughter and so they kept her madane name.

they got to school and the girl jumped from the confines of the some what claustrophobic vehicle but her mother with a stern but loving hand grabbed her arm and siad "good-bye my dear, sweet, Claudia." and then they drove away leaving the girl alone.

not but seven minutes and a half after the poor girls mother left did she wish she hadnt been so foolish the world is cruel, she thought. in that time children had called her "freak" or "Witch" or even "pin cushion" along with the hurtful name of pin cushion they had done hurtful things to her, like sticking her with push pins, or throwing rocks at her. and when she thought the worst was over her new teacher, Mrs.Lawson made her come up to the front of the class and as she practically drowned in the insults and snickering form her fellow learners she careful pronunciated all her words and choose them wisely, "My name is Claudia Duefray." she said then added "i hope wea ll can get along.
aafter half a day of insults she went into the dinning hall and got her food she didnt get to eat it because her face was smushed into it and she rushed to the bath room half crying so she could was her patches before they stained.

after three days of the cruelty and rudness she finally took a sewing tool, called a seam ripper( which, as the name implies is used to rip the seams out of clothing) anbd tore herself to shreads that later that day her poor mother found and after enduring thepain of her husbands recent demise and her daughters she died from shock.
now a child, coming from and extremley poor family found the patches and made them into a doll which she named Amy. and amy amiled so large it would have brought a tear to your eye.
