• Zelda returned the embrace, for she could tell Mitako was still a bit shaken up. "It's alright, he's gone." she reassured Mitako. Slowly lifting her head up, Mitako looked at Zelda as a stray tear fell down her face. "What should I do? I'm afraid he might come back!" she told Zelda, her voice shaking. Zelda gently placed her hand on the side of Mitako's face and smiled kindly. "There's no need to worry, we'll watch out for you, I promise." Zelda replied.

"Damnit, I was so close! How dare that puny elf interrupt my plans!" Ashala said angrily. He paced back and forth across the room, feeling very frustrated. "Who is this puny elf you speak of, my master?" one of his minions asked. "Some dark looking elf. He snuck up behind me out of nowhere!" Ashala replied with an angered look. He stared out at the darkened sky, lost in thought. "How the hell do I get close to Mitako?" he wondered, thinking out loud to himself.

"Master, if I may..." the minion began hesitantly. "SILENCE you imbecile!" Ashala roared angrily. "How many times must I tell you not to interrupt me!?" he asked with a glare. "S-sorry master, I will leave you in peace." the minion said with a bow, then left his master's chambers. 'Why the hell do I end up with such incompitent idiots?' he thought in frustration. "I'll show my father who's the stronger ruler! I swear, she will be mine forever!" Ashala said determinedly. 'Soon, her powers will be mine!' he thought. After what seemed like a long time, a dark twisted smile crossed his face. He had found the perfect plan.

"Um, Zelda?" Mitako asked timidly. "Yes Mi-chan?" Zelda replied. "Do you mind if I call you my big sister and Link my big brother?" Mitako asked shyly. "What for?" Zelda asked curiously. "Well, you see, I've never had any siblings. To me, both you and Link are like family in a way, you know." Mitako explained. Zelda smiled kindly. "Of course you can, little sister! I'm sure Link won't mind." Zelda replied happily. Mitako returned the smile. "Arigatou Ne-chan!" she said with a big smile. "You're welcome!" Zelda replied. Looking around, Mitako noticed there wasn't any clock, save for the sun setting outside the window. "Goodness, it's getting late." Mitako said.

A few minutes later, Sir Shadow came back in. "How are you doing miss Mitako?" he asked. "I'm doing fine, thank you." Mitako replied with a small shy smile. "That's good. I'm glad to hear it!" Sir Shadow said with a smile behind his mask. "Shadow-san, may I ask you something?" Mitako said curiously, studying his face carefully. "Of course m'lady." Sir Shadow replied. "Where are you from?" Mitako asked. Sir Shadow removed his mask. "Before I can tell you that, you must know who I really am." he began. "My real name is Robert. My world is in a different dimention, kind of like this one. It was destroyed by darkness. I'm here for two reasons, one of which is to keep this world from falling to the same fate as mine did. The other is that some goddess had visited me in my dreams and told me to come here to Hyrule." Sir Shadow explained. "Which goddess was it, Sir Shadow?" Mitako asked him. "It was Din." he replied simply. "I'm sorry to hear what happened to your world, Sir Shadow." Mitako said sympathetically. Sir Shadow gave a small smile. "It's alright, really." he said quickly. "I guess I'd better let you rest for a bit. I'll see you ladies tomorrow. Good night." Sir Shadow said, giving a quick bow before returning to his guest room.

Zelda turned back to Mitako. "I'll be in my room if you need anything." she said. Mitako nodded once. "Hai, oyasuminasai Zelda ne-chan." Mitako said, embracing Zelda in a hug. "Oyasuminasai Mi-chan." Zelda replied, returning the hug. Mitako let go of Zelda, giving her a small smile. Zelda smiled back as she lightly kissed Mitako's forehead afffectionately. "Oh by the way, there's going to be a spring ball here in the castle in 3 days. It will be in the evening." Zelda informed her. "Um, I'd love to go, but I don't have anything to wear." Mitako said, her smile quickly fading. "Don't worry, I can help you with that!" Zelda said reassuringly. Mitako smiled, sighing in relief. "Arigatou Ne-chan!" she said.

A lone figure sat in a nearby tree, silently observing the three people in the room within the lower hallway of Hyrule Castle. Her long, crimpy, shoulder length deep purple hair blew lightly in the wind. "I've finally found you, m'lady. Thank heavens you're safe. I know we'll meet again soon." she said to herself with a small smile of relief.

The next morning, the sun began to shine brightly in the sky with its warm rays. Mitako woke up, hearing a knock at the door. "Miss Mitako, may I come in?" asked a female voice. "Um, y-yes, please come in." Mitako replied. The door opened, and in walked a maid with short brown hair and forest green eyes. "Sir Shadow wishes to speak with you." the maid said. "Please, let him in." Mitako said sweetly. "Yes miss, right away." the maid replied with a slight bow. "Wait, what's your name?" Mitako asked, seeing the maid turn to leave. The maid turned back to face Mitako. "I'm Rachel, it's nice to meet you!" replied Rachel with a small, shy smile. "Same here Rachel. Thank you for telling me." Mitako said, returning the smile. "You're welcome miss Mitako." Rachel replied, leaving the room.

A moment later, Sir Shadow came in without his mask on. "Good morning Mitako, did you sleep well?" he asked. "Um, yes I did." Mitako replied, smiling shyly. "That's good. Is there anything I can help you with?" he asked. "Um, well maybe... I'm not so sure though." Mitako answered a bit hesitantly. Sir Shadow gave a slight grin. "I'm one of the strongest, fastest men alive. Surely there's something I can do for you." he said. Mitako paused, thinking for a minute. "Could you take me to Lake Hylia?" she asked. "Of course I will." Sir Shadow replied. "Why would you want to go there?" he asked her curiously. "I must go, because the goddesses of Hyrule told me to go through three trials." Mitako explained, letting out a small nervous sigh. Sir shadow saw the look on Mitako's face. "Hey, don't worry. I'm sure the trials won't be too difficult." he said reassuringly. "I'd be glad to take you there. I too have been told that I may need to pass a few trials as well." he said. "Really?" Mitako asked curiously. "Yes, I think it had to do with unsealing some magic powers of mine." Sir Shadow explained. "Please let me know when you're ready to go. I'll be waiting for you outside in the hall." he said with a small, kind smile. "Alright, thank you so much Sir Shadow!" Mitako said, happily returning the smile. "Any time, milady." Sir Shadow replied, bowing to her as he left the room.

Letting out a yawn, Mitako stretched her arms as she got up out of bed. She walked towards the closet and carefully opened it up. She couldn't believe her eyes as she looked through the clothes. After getting dressed and ready, Mitako closed the closet doors. She let out a small, nervous sigh. 'What if I can't do it?' she wondered. Slowly, Mitako walked towards the window, leaning her arms on the cil as she stared up at the sky. A few moments later, Sir Robert walked in again, seeing Mitako standing in front of the window. "Hey, is something wrong?" he asked. "N-no, nothing's wrong." Mitako replied. "I know that look all too well. You can tell me anything." he said. "I'm not sure I have it in me to pass the trials." Mitako confessed, letting out an uneasy sigh. Sir Robert smiled gently. "Let me tell you a little something. I live by one rule in life and that's to never give up, no matter how bad it gets. It's not a matter of knowing, it's a matter of trying. I'll be there with you all the way." he said. Mitako turned to face Sir Robert, smiling. "Thank you Robert." she replied, wrapping her arms around him in a hug. Robert returned the embrace happily. "You're welcome, I'm glad I could help." Robert replied. "We'd better be on our way to Lake Hylia." he said, letting go of her. "Yeah, but how do you plan on getting us both there?" Mitako asked. "I'll carry you there on my back. I'm much faster on my feet than any person alive! Heck, I'm even faster than Link!" he replied with a grin. Mitako just stood there, feeling a bit shy about the idea. "Um, well ok. So, shall we?"she asked timidly. "Yeah, but only if you're ready." Sir Robert Replied. "Yes I am." Mitako replied confidently. Sir Robert walked with Mitako outside the castle and into Hyrule Field West. Once they were there, Sir Robert helped Mitako up onto his back and began to run at an incredible speed well over 600 miles per hour. In no time at all, they had arrived at Lake Hylia.
