• “Honey! Hurry up you’ll be late for school!” yelled Kanra up the stairs. Kat hurried down the stairs. “Hurrying!” She kissed her mother goodbye and went out the door. She jumped in her car and drove to school. Kanra watched as Kat drove away. She glanced toward the shelf nearby. She picked up a watch that had been Kat’s grandfathers. It was grey and had what looked like a map on it. It had never been opened mostly because no one could figure out how.
    Kat just made it to class. She sat in her seat and got her books out. Kat never really paid attention in class. She was always daydreaming of far away places. She wanted to travel and see the world. “Kat pay attention!” her teacher yelled. “Sorry.”
    A few minutes later she went back to daydreaming. I wish I could leave this place.
    That night Kat was woken by a noise downstairs. What is that? Kat through on her robe and went down stairs. The watch on the shelf was glowing. “It’s never done that before.” She said to herself. Kat picked it up. All of a sudden in her hands it burst open. A beam of light burst out of it. The next thing Kat knew is she was on the floor with the watch next to her no longer glowing. What the hell was that? Kat dropped the watch and ran upstairs.

    The next morning Kat woke up early so she went on her computer. She was browsing around when she came across a particular blog. It said “have you seen this man?” and it had a picture of a man. The Man was looking out of a blue box. He was called all through the thread the Doctor. Kat was curious. Who’s the doctor? She scrolled through the replies. So many people claiming to have seen this man called the Doctor. She left a response about what had happened to her. She hoped someone would understand and maybe even be able to explain it all.

    A few weeks passed and Kat started to have strange things happen to her. It started when she had a strange dream. In the dream she was with the doctor. And for some reason he called her bad wolf. She had no idea what it meant. Then she started seeing things that were going to happen before they occurred. Some people were saying her eyes glowed. Kat had no idea what they were talking about.
    Kat was walking home from work one night when she spotted a blue box on a corner. “What is that?” she went over to it. It looked like an old police call box from the 80’s. “What would a police public call box be doing here?” Then before she knew it a man pushed her out of the way and went inside it. “Hey!” she knocked on the door. “Wait! Who are you?” It was too late and before her very eyes the box disappeared. “Ok I must be dreaming.” Kat stood there for a minute. She was not sure what had happened just then.
    Kat sat on a bench nearby everyday waiting to see if it would show up again. One day it did. Kat ran up to it and when the man came out she came up to him. “Ok what is up here? I see you once and you just push past me and disappear. I want to know who you are and what is going on!" He blinked at her. He seemed bewildered. “Um.. I’m the Doctor and sorry about before I was in a rush." Kat backed up. “It’s you. The one from the site and my dreams." Kat was so shocked she could hardly speak. “I’m Kat by the way. I need some help. Can we talk?" He nodded still with a look of confusion on his face. Kat told him the whole story with the watch and what had been going on. “So what the heck happened to me?" He thought for a minute. “Well come with me and we'll find out."
