• As the fox was drinking from the crystal clear creek it heard a whisper in the wind. The fox lifted its head and moved its ears to and fro trying to hear what secrets the whispers were trying to tell. After listening intently for what seem forever the fox began to understand what the secret was. But all he heard was one word “Knowledge” before the wind stopped. After hearing this the fox began to wonder what it meant, and the more he thought about it the more he began to realize more and more about what was really happening around him. Realizing this the fox began to understand what the wind meant the secret the wind was telling was only a secret to those who where not curious enough to hear it. It was not truly telling a secret it was passing the secret of knowledge along to those who cared enough to learn.
Thinking about this the fox wonder more about why he was one to understand this, and thinking more about himself he began to wonder who he was. Thinking this he realized that everything around him had a name but him, so he thought what kind of name would suit him. Thinking about this for a few moments he thought of one and concentrating on this name he began to understand that it was truly his and no others so he said his name aloud “Xerang Chakiro.” After saying this aloud he decided it was perfect and from now on that is what he would be known as.
After discovering his name he began to wonder how many others truly heard and understood what the wind was saying. So he got up from were he was sitting near the creek and began to walk towards what he now knew to be the North side of the woods. As he was crossing the creek he saw something shining a little ways up the creek, heading towards it to investigate he noticed that it was wavering back and forth. Getting up close to it he noticed it was some kind of talisman, with a strange but familiar symbol on it, hanging from a metal scale shaped chain link and looked as if it was just broken off and thrown away.
Picking it up in his teeth he felt how light it was and the weight seemed to be familiar to him. Looking closer at the metal scale shaped chain he noticed that it now seemed to be tied, so without thinking he threw hit over his head and around his neck. Wearing it he started out again, knowing little of how it would end and whom he would meet during his journey.
