• Long Hair

Pen stared intently at the black haired male for a long time. Rays of the sun that peeked through the trees glinted off the male's hair as the breeze tousled the ponytail slightly. Blood rushed to Pen's cheeks as she continued to stare. "How is he so damn beautiful?" she asked herself softly.

Opening one golden eye, Kuro glanced over at the young, white haired woman. For a long moment, he stared at her as she did him. Her hair was different then his. Spiky and wild. It was the first day they met that her wild hair gave him the impression she had an odd personality. She did, but as time went on, he became quite accustomed to it.

But her hair, it bothered him in a good way. It glimmered softly in the full blown sunlight. It was almost . . . angelic. Then he noticed something else. She was staring at him. "Penelope." Kuros dark and deep voice startled the teen. Shooting up from behind her chair, she rested her hand at her forehead in salute. The male rose a brow.

A sheepish grin came over the young woman's face as she lowered her hand. "Yes Kuro?" she chirped. Kuro gazed at her a moment longer before flexing his finger toward himself. The young woman made a pounce like motion, landing almost in the man's lap. "Is there something wanted?"

He sighed heavily at her actions. Another thing that still took a while to get used to. "Why have you been staring at me?" he asked bluntly. Pen's eyes went wide as her face flushed again. She really couldn't think of valid excuses (considering that Kuro had heard nearly all of them). Twiddling her thumbs together behind her back helped her think a little. Still, not enough to fool the ever brilliant Kuro.

Pen sighed in defeat. "I was staring at your hair." His brow rose again in question. "It's so long and beautiful Kuro. I can't help it. I just wanna feel it." The sentence really didn't help the fact she was blushing and the fact she was practically sitting in his lap, leaning closer to him. However, the innocence in her voice threw him over the edge in honesty.

"Alright then, if you want to feel it go ahead." Pen's eyes lit up a little. Slowly, she reached and touched the very top of his head. It felt smooth, but she could barely tell because it was pulled back so tightly in the long ponytail down his back. She glanced down at the male. His eyes were closed again. A smirk crossed her expression.

Carefully, she moved her hand against his hair towards the tie that held it. In a quick, cat-like motion, she pulled the tie that released the mans long hair. Kuro's eyes went wide. "HEY!" he howled. However, Kuro wasn't quick enough because his hands had already been tied by his crimson hair tie.

Although he wanted to complain, he looked up Pen as he felt her fingers through his hair. Pen had a small, subtle smile on her face as she slowly ran her fingers through the man's silky hair. The mere sensation of her fingers against his scalp made him drowsy. He sighed and closed his eyes, surrendering to the young woman's intentions. In fact, it was nice to have the two not arguing for once.

Until Pen started braiding Kuro's hair.
