• CHAPTER TEN: BACK TO SCHOOL

I woke up in Eichi's bed, with Eichi next to me. It was pitch-black outside. The moonlight glowed through the window. Eichi was awake, looking at the stars through the window. Wind blew codly in from the open windows. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"Wakey, wakey, Ayu-my-Love," Eichi chuckled, turning my face towards his. My breath suddenly caught in my throat. His eyes were a dazzling ruby red, and his fangs gleamed in the moonlight. He was smirking, as always, so I had full view of his sharp fangs. I yawned again, quieter that time. I fell back asleep, my breath leveling out.

    *~*~*

I looked around my dream setting, frowning in disapproval. It was the perfect place to have a date. It was a large garden made up of lush, jolly green bushes and grass with the best smelling flowers possible to smell. There weren't any fences around the flowers, it was nature and obviously didn't need to be cooped up in certain fenced areas. Up ahead, there was a small bench with an open room type of thing. There were only two walls, one closer East, and one closer West. There were benches connected to the walls. I walked closer to the open room and realized who was sitting there; Eichi and... some girl I couldn't recognize.

They were talking and laughing, and at one point the girl saw me and snickered. I didn't know what I was wearing in the dream, but apparently it wasn't appealing to the "Preppy" kind. Eichi looked over at the girl and mumbled, "Now, Mizu, it's not nice to make fun of other girls." She rolled her eyes at him and began walking towards me. I could see her clearer now; she had waist-long black hair that clung to her hips. Her eyes were a very unnatural colored purple. Her skin was really pale, like she hadn't been near the sun for a while. Her outfit was cute. She was wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a tube top the same exact color of her eyes, and black Converse Chuck Taylor high-tops.

She glared at me as her lips slowly curved up into a demonic grin. She raised her fist to punch me, pulled it back and shot it forwards. Before it could hit my head, my eyes popped open

    *~*~*

I awoke screaming. I was in Eichi's lap, ready to cry. He carressed my back and smiled. It was bright outside, about 6:00 a.m. Eichi was fully-clothed in a casual jeans-and-T-shirt look. He had Element sneakers on, which looked perfect on him. He kissed my forehead and whispered, "Time for the rest of your Senior year." I pulled away and fell off his lap, but caught myself before I hit the ground fully. I realized I had been with Eichi for about eight days. I had completely forgotton about school. Hopefully, Eichi enrolled me in a good high school.

I got dressed quickly, pulling my Converse Chuck Taylor high-tops onto my feet. I had on a really short, ruffled Electric Blue skirt and a Maroon-and-White striped camisole from Aeropostale. I slipped on my Cheshire Cat hoodie and walked out the front door with Eichi. My hair was neatly combed back, but my bangs hung over my left eye. I probably looked "Scene", but I didn't care.

We drove to a high school called Ridgewood High. On our way there, Eichi explained that he went to high school here as well. I nodded and giggled as he parked in the school parking lot. We got out of his car and walked into the school. I admit, I was nervous.

Eichi made sure that we had the same class as each other on the same day at the same time. Our schedules were exactly the same. We both were supposed to leave school early; right before last, or 7th, period. It was probably because they knew I had a really weak stomach and 7th period was Advanced Anatomy class. They probably also know Eichi and I go home together every day.

During Homeroom, I was intoduced to the whole class except to Eichi, and I introduced myself. Some Preppy girls snickered, and I realized one of them was the girl from my dreams, Mizu. She and Eichi were giving each other looks, like they like-liked each other. Mizu kept glaring at me and I sat down in the only empty desk; next to Eichi.

    *~*~*

I didn't talk to Eichi the whole ride home. I found out from Mizu's best friend Piper that Mizu and Eichi were dating. Even if Eichi would say he swore I was the only one he loved, I would ignore him and look longingly out the window. Eichi apologized over and over until we got home. The final time he apologized, I believed him. But he didn't only apologize...

    ...He told me a secret.
