• Introduction
    It was 10:00 A.M and Daniel had just woke up from his sleep dreaming about what's going to be his Pokemon Starter. The clock started ringing. Daniel woke up with a small smile on his face. "Time to get going." he said getting out his bed.

    Chapter 1
    Daniel went down stairs. Daniel lives with his father. His mother died from a fire trying to save Daniel. "Where's Dad?" he asked himself. Then, Daniel found a note on the table. He took the note and read it. Dear Daniel, I'm going on a journey to the Johto Region. So I won't be there to give you breakfast. Your new PokeGear is inside you backpack. It has my phone number in it so if you want to talk to me, call me on your contacts. From your Father, Will.

    "Well what do you expect for your father to become one of the Elite Four?" Daniel said balling the paper and throwing it in the trash. Daniel put on some clothes and put on his backpack. He left the house and went to Prof. Oak's Pokemon Lab. "I'm here Prof. Oak!" Daniel shouted. Prof. Oak turned around and saw Daniel walking in. "Ah! Daniel!" he said. "It seems you made it early." "Well I don't wanna lose the opportunity to get my first Pokemon!" Daniel said.

    "That's what you father said to me before he got his Pokemon." Prof.Oak said. "I remember he used to be a little kid, trying to become the best Pokemon trainer ever. And now he has became one of the Elite four." "Let me guess, and now I continue his legacy." Daniel said. Prof.Oak laughed. "Seems like you really don't like being in your Dad's shadow." he said. And Prof.Oak was right. Daniel never like to be in his dad's shadow. He wanted to surpass him no matter what.

    "So you're ready for to get your Pokemon?" Prof.Oak asked. "Yup!" Daniel answered. Prof.Oak took Daniel to a table where three Pokemon Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur are standing. "Choose a Pokemon!" Prof. Oak said. Daniel was trying to decide what Pokemon should he pick. "I choose..." Daniel paused. "...Charmander!" "That's an excellent choice!" Prof.Oak said. "Fire type beginners are very easy to raise unlike the grass types." Prof.Oak gave Daniel 5 Poke Balls. "Here, have these!" he said. "Oh cool, Poke Balls!" Daniel said grabbing them and putting them in his bag. "You know about Poke Balls?" Prof.Oak asked.

    "Yea! My father told me about them!" Daniel answered. "He also taught me how to catch Pokemon!" "Oh yeah! I forgot!" Prof.Oak said. "Daniel, the road of becoming a Pokemon trainer is hard. There will be many challenges you'll face and tasks you must do." "But I have one question for you." he said. "What do Pokemon mean to you?" Daniel thought about it. "Pokemon are like people to me. They have feelings like humans and do things that are similar to what humans do." Daniel said.

    "I think Pokemon are family! We play and work together! We stay side by side with each other till the end!" Daniel said. To be continued....
