• "Adabelle...What are we going to do?" Sabra sighed.
    "What can we do?"
"I don't know, but we have to try. Maybe we can get her fired."
    "How?" Adabelle asked hopelessly.
"We could frame her for something. Make it look like she was breaking the rules."
"She already is! She's horrible! And this is just the first day! Imagine what tomorrow is going to be like!"
"Wow, you're awfully pessimistic. We can fix this. Mr. Denson wouldn't let things go on this way." Sabra said, exasperated.
"He can't really help us, Sabra. The school hired her, and only the school can fire her. Maybe we should just go to public schools. We wouldn't have to deal with Ms. A., and they would have normal classes."
"Why would you say that? You're being so stupid! All we have to do is find a new art teacher, and everything will be back to normal."
"Normal? You don't know a thing about normal!"
"Adabelle! Why are you being so difficult? Don't you want to try?"
"Of course I do, but it's just going to hurt us more if we fail. Do you want that?"
"No..." Sabra admitted. "We need to try though. Imagine this...Every single day we have gym class after gym class, except for fourth hour."
    "That's how it always is--"
"But, fourth hour is worse than gym classes." Sabra cut Adabelle off. "We have Ms. A. as a teacher, and she makes us do the most boring things. We never get to actually make art. She punishes people for being different and praises the students who just follow the restrictive rules."
"Ugh." Adabelle sighed. Or...Imagine this. We get Ms. A. fired, and in her place, the school hires an amazing new teacher. Someone talented and open-minded, someone who cares about our ideas and work. Someone handsome and kind. Someone with an artistic background, and a really cool job."
"Okay, now you're just imagining your prince charming. Handsome? Ha! We can't be that picky!"
"I'm just saying that it would be nice...So what's our plan?"
"That's the right attitude Adabelle! Well, what's the goal we want to meet?"
"We want a handsome new art teacher." Adabelle winked.
"And how would that be accomplished?"
    "By getting Ms. A. fired."
"Exactly. Now, what might be a motive for Mrs. Larson to fire Ms. A.?" Sabra prompted, a knowing look in her eye.
    "Uh, her breaking the rules?"
"No, think something she would like."
"A new car? I don't know..." Adabelle looked puzzled.
"A handsome man. Think about it. Her husband is an old, gross, creepy guy. Why wouldn't she want a handsome teacher working at her school?"
"You're brilliant! But who would be good for the job?"
