The sound of an alarm clock could be heard ringing through quiet, seemingly empty two story home. A door up stairs opened then closed and the shuffling sound of feet moved across the soft gray carpet. A boy with blondish white hair walked down the hall scratching his head and yawning. He wasn't use to getting up this early, but he did so in order to wake his best friend up, whom was a hard sleeper. He could hear his friend's alarm ringing continuously and it became rather annoying. The boy, without thinking or caring, opened the door to his friend's room and stopped in the door way looking around. At first he seen nothing, until the blanket on the bed moved. He laughed and walked into the neatly organized room. A boy, with a gentle looking face laid under the heaping pill of white blanket that seemed to big and fluffy for the bed. The boy's hair was tussled and flung every which way. The boy smiled down at his friend before jumping onto the bed and on top of his friend.
"Echo, it's time to get up. We have school we have to attend or we're in trouble if we miss our first day." the boy said loudly jumping up and down moving Echo around on the bed.. Echo moaned and flung a pillow at his friend's head. "Silence, let me rest. I can't remember the last time I got a good nights sleep." Echo moaned. Silence laughed and hit Echo across the head with the pillow. "It's past night. It's already six in the morning and we have to be at the school by seven thirty." Echo sighed and sat up quickly, his brownish-red hair falling into his face and over his shoulder's. With his eyes still closed he pointed his face towards Silence. "Fine, I'll get up but I really want to sleep." Echo whined throwing the blanket off himself.
When he stood, he stood next to his bed only in a pair of black boxers. His muscular torso and arms shown with all their glory. He stretched and ruffled his head as he yawned. He then quickly turned to Silence and glared, his golden brown eyes narrowed. "You owe me breakfast this morning for making me wake up so early." He said. Silence laughed and climbed off his friend's bed. "Whatever, just get ready and make sure you're down stairs before seven." Silence said before closing the door. Echo chuckled mockingly before turning to the large wall of windows and looking out at the sunrise. He smiled softly before sighing and nodding to himself. "Alright Echo, you can do this. New day, new school, new people. You're use to this, you're a rock-star for crying out loud." He said encouraging himself. When he felt reassured he nodded once more before heading over to his closet to pick out his clothes.
Aya sat in her room looking out her window down towards the creek in their backyard. She liked the silence that surrounded her when her friends weren't around. She really did love them, but sometimes they were to loud. As she sat there smiling softly at the calming water, a knock came from the door before her three best friends; Caset, Casey, and May busted through the door hollering. "Ohmigod," Casey said over excited. Her red hair in pigtails today. "You'll never guess who is coming to our school." Aya looked at her friends puzzled and shook her head. "Who?" She asked. Her three friends looked at her surprised, but only for a second before their enthusiasm came back. "Echo and Silence." Caset said. Her black and red hair pulled in a half ponytail, and her razor cut bangs hanging above her eyebrows. Aya once again looked at them puzzled. "ohmigod," Stared May, whom looked like a clone of Caset but with more weight and her hair was blue and blond. "Please tell me you know who they are." Aya shook her head. "No, sorry I don't. Who are they?" Her three friends looked at each other then back to her. "They are only two of the hottest rock-stars known to women everywhere. Aya, how can you not know who they are?" Caset asked. Aya shrugged and stood from her window seat. "I guess I'm not that into superstars like most girls." She said grabbing her bag and walking past her friends. "Yeah, I guess you're just a complete freak then." May muttered.
The girls said good-bye to Derk, Aya's brother before the four of them headed off towards the school. During the entire walk to school, Aya's friends talked about Echo and Silence. Aya grew bored with the subject and put her ipod on to drown the annoying sounds of her friends. Aya didn't care much for recent music, she perfered Mozart and classical music. Only now and again would she listen to indi rock or alternative rock music. When they approached the school, students were crowding around the entrance waiting for the new arrivals. Some media people where there but mainly students. Aya's friends seen the comation and left her, Aya only shrugged it off and kept walking towards class. She didn't want to be caught in all the drama, she figured the superstars would want to live a normal life for once.
Echo and Silence could see the students and Media lined out front of the school. Silence moaned and Echo laughed slightly. Their ride stopped and the crowed swarmed around the doors and sides. "This never gets old for them does it?" Silence complained trying to find a way out of the car without being attacked. Echo laughed and patted his friend's shoulder. "No worries, just keep your head down and keep walking." He said just as the door opened and the crowd's voice became louder. The two friends climbed out of the car and waved to their fans and the media. Slowly they tried to get away from them but the crowded moved closer and tighter. "Please, we just want to go to class our dear fans and media. No worries there will be time to talk later." Echo called out smiling and waving.
Aya had turned off her ipod and was putting it in her jacket when she heard the crowd go wild and a man's voice speak. She figured the two stars had finally arrived. Sighing she fought with her ipod to go into her pocket when she was pushed down by a crazed fan. Frustrated she gathered her belongings that had fallen out of her bag. As she did so someone bent down to help her. Looking up she seen a beautiful man with blondish white hair holding her cell phone and smiling. "sorry about that." He said. "Our fans are a little wild." Aya took her phone and stood, brushing the dirt off her jeans. Silence stood and held out his hand. "I'm silence, but you probably already knew that." Aya shook her head. "No sorry, Silence you said it was?" She asked looking at her feet. "But I don't know who you are." Silence's smile fell as he looked at this strange person. He was about to ask her, her name before she turned and left after hearing a group of girls scream for him. Silence stood still watching the girl leave and became surrounded by many of his fans. Echo walked up next to him and elbowed him. "dude, this is great, who knew we would be going to school with most of our fans." Silence turned to face him and laughed, trying to fake a front. Many of his fans tried to get his attention and as he faked his front he would occasionally look to see if he could still see the girl, but she had already disappeared.
