• There was a time when I really thought you loved me. That I could call the thing we had a “relationship”.

But that world of rainbows and sunshine, of true love, it was all just a big fraud, a dream I wanted to have for myself.

Still, I held onto you, like a baby would cling to its mother, a dog to his owner. But I was less than a dog to you, I was your own personal toy.
Someone who was crazy enough to keep up with your crazy fantasies.. Your deepest desires. It was just a daily thing to strap me to the bed, my legs spread wide, mouth either gagged or penetrated. It was routine.

You never asked me; “Babe, what’s your wish?” You actually never asked me anything, except what I wanted to use as a safe word every time we did it.

But the biggest fool was me, me. The one who gave his body to you to be used to the fullest. I became the person I despised the most, submissive, obedient. I was all that. It wasn’t you I hated, it was me.

There were many times I think the world’s better off without me. That there’s no one that needs me. But in the end.. You.. You still need me. All those night you needed me. That were the times I felt like I had a purpose in life.

I might not have the perfect life, but as long as you need me, I’ll be there.

    Love,

    your Jaejoong.

Officer Jung Yunho’s hands were shaking slightly as he finished ready the letter by the 24 year old Kim Jaejoong, who was found death in his apartment. A bloody murder had happened only hours before, and when the landlord had come around to collect rent he stumbled upon the body of the young male, lifeless and covered in blood, a letter crumbled in his hand.

The man had immediately called the emergency line, too shocked to really explain what had happened. But once they arrived at the building, it was clear this was a murder.

The body was covered with bruises, the male’s fair skin torn to a blood scenery. It sickened the young inspector to see something so disgusting yet saddening. Never in his quite short time of service he’d seen anything like this.

“Yunho-yah.” A hand was laid on his shoulder, his chief inspector, Park Yoochun, had hurried over to the crime scene as well. “What you go there?”

“A letter sir, a letter the victim wrote..” Yunho handed the letter carefully to his chief. He gazed at Yoochun until he read the letter to the end.

“My god.. So Kim Jaejoong was a sex slave?” Yoochun gave the letter back to Yunho, he walked over to the covered body, shaking his head. “And you asked the landlord about what he saw and heard?”

Yunho nodded, standing beside Yoochun. “Yes sir, Choi Ajusshi told me he heard a racket the night before, and Kim Jaejoong-shii’s partner, Lee Changshik, left in the middle of the night and hasn’t been seen after.”

“You think he did it, Yunho-yah?”

For Yunho that question was idiotic, but of course you wouldn’t say so to your boss. He nodded, looking back at the body on the apartment floor. “I think so.. He was raped before he was murdered..”

Yoochun sighed, it had been a while since he’d seen something like this, and knew how disturbing it was to work on a case like this. “You sure you can handle this?”

“Don’t worry sir, I’m on it.”

With that, Yunho received another pat on his shoulder. “Write a report of every bit of evidence, if it was that Changshik guy, we should be able to find him easily.” Yoochun beamed the other a soft smile. “I know you’ll do great.”

“Thanks sir.. you’ll have the report as soon as possible.”

As soon as Yoochun left the scene of the crime, Yunho kneeled beside the body, moving the plastic away from the dead male’s face. This Kim Jaejoong had the face of an angel, his hair was platinum blond, his skin fair. Who would ever think of hurting or even murdering such beauty.

He raised his head slightly and his eyes caught a glimpse of a picture frame, slowly he got up and looked at it closely. There he was smiling, hands intertwined with a guy with pitch black hair, that had to be Changshik..

Yunho then wondered what had happened after that picture was taken, they looked so happy there.

But he knew very well how some things could end..

Even for the happiest people in the world.
